Im aware of what f2p is... And "Endless" implies, well... endless. So EA is making it sound like its f2p-ish.

But whatever, Im not going to argue over it.

And that's due to so many experiment with builds that if they even get to level 12 it is something. Never made so many leveled, deleted, leveled, reincarnated, leveled, deleted toons in one game.

But it's a blast customizing and trying out builds. With hirelings, you don't even need to wait on groups either. No tank/healer/DPS, no problem bring 3 hirelings with you.

Love that game for it's builds that just so much D&D.

I used to play the real D&D many many many years ago. So I downloaded it just to check it out. I just started but so far it seems really unique and fairly different. A little more hack and slashy than some RPG's but the hack and slash elements actually seem to matter more if that makes any sense. I love the "D&Dness" of the game. Yea its a little stat heavy for those unused, but it brings back memories. It's not as good as some of the PW NW2 shards I tried though. That game kicked some serious *** if you could find a well done PW shard.

War was horrible at release, with all the same posts you read here. Maybe after all this time they have a better game to offer, won't know till you try i supppose. Personally, I thought the PVP in Aion was more fun though.

WAR at release had really fun open world pvp until the horribly bad game balance issues were revealed over time and the WAR team was so horrible at game balancing that it basically destroyed PVP. Though even at its best, DAOC was still better in terms of pvp.

I played pre-launch and at launch for about a year and I can't say it was a horrible game. The developers did a horrible job at fixing things, yes. I did go back after a long break and found the game to be better balanced. I still didn't agree with a lot of the dev's decisions, but I think it's the best pvp game out there atm(if pvp is all you want and don't have 10+years invested into Eve). I would only recommend trying it out if you are in for one hell of a grind to get to rr100. It is very fun though until you hit tier 4 and have all of the top lvl players destroying you in 2 secs. Also, it seems to be on maintanance mode atm with bioware spending thier funds on star wars mmo.
