You're level 50.
You log in tomorrow.
You are now level 26 and the opposite faction.
Your spellbook is different. You aren't even the same class.
You have no idea where you are and the map is foreign to you.
You close a rift and you lose a level.
You are puzzled now. Bewildered you look at your screenshots from yesterday. You could swear you were level 50. You were. You send in a ticket to petition.
"Hello,
This is GM <fill in the blank>. We have found that the game was too linear. You could go from point A to point B in a very predictable fashion. You could do the same quests over and over and we have decided to make it interesting for you. Tomorrow when you log in you could be a level 6 or a level 48. This is what we feel will help make your experience non-linear. The quests will not be found in the same place from day to day. The rewards will never be the same. Every day we will change the level requirement and the levels of the mobs inside a dungeon. Sometimes when you kill stuff, you might lose a level. We feel that this will help you never feel like you have the same experience twice. We hope you enjoy this new non-linear progression.
Thanks,
GM <fill in the blank>"
Honestly. I don't know what you expect from a scripted computer program.
