Change hair?
Hello.
I'm fairly new to rift, and i was wondering if it's possible to change your hair in rift?
And do you guys know if they will ever add race change? Yes i know, your thinking about wow now, but i don't want to be the current race i am, and cba making whole new char
as of right now, there is no way to change your hair/race in the game. as far as anyone knows, trion is aware of the interest of barbershops but is very quiet on the subject. as for race changes, no one knows.
there is also a pretty long thread about this thing in the suggestion board.
Hi, welcome to Rift!
We've been asking for an EQ2 (before WoW) style barbershop for over a year now. Hopefully Trion will implement it soon (TM). I think it would add a lot to the longevity of playing characters (nevermind what it provides for the RPers.)
Not seen an overwhelmingly huge demand for race change. I'm personally torn on this one, because my old-school-sensibility says, just roll another one (it's very easy to level in Rift), yet I have a few 50's I wish I could change.
Also charging for that starts down a path I'd rather not see Trion trod.
So, to answer both of your questions: not at this time. Sorry.

Outdoor RvE for both PvE & PvP
I believe they've previously said that there will be cosmetic changes in-game "at some point". Couldn't give you a citation, though.
You can play WoW in any MMO. You don't have to play WoW in RIFT. Oh, and no, RIFT is not a WoW clone. Not having fun any more? Learn to play, noob! This has been one of the most requested features since the game launched. Last I checked, there were 18+ threads started on it.

Yeah, I'd like to sport a new 'hairdo,' when I leave 'My house,' to go out 'fishing,' in my new 'wardrobe.' And I'd also like to fly to the lake on my 'flying mount.' Just saying,,,,

I really would like to change my character's look (hair mostly, but facial changes if possible), and housing would be nice, but I could do without Fishing and flying mounts.
