I really wish this would happen, but I seriously doubt it will. This is Trion's way of throttling how fast maxed out PvP characters can acquire new gear with each tier upgrade. It also enforces a predictable pattern on how mini-maxers will buy their new gear.

I think the favor cap is at 150k to avoid twinks get starter pvp gear right away when they decide to hit 50.

My idea would be, Increase the favor cap by a small amount when a player gains a PvP rank, like 3-4k favor per rank.

Yeah it's quite annoying having this favor cap, 999,999 should be the cap, and more than achievable.

I've done 2.6 million favor on my rogue. Get's quite annoying having to spend it on stuff to keep earning. :/

This is definitely a good idea. And to say that the cap is there to prevent sub 50's from acquiring gear is misinformed as you can buy anything that doesn't require prestige pre-50, which is most of the armor up through T3 (can't get PVP weapons... like they are even worth it).

I quit PvP on my rogue because I'm capped and Warfronts are pretty useless unless I'm getting favor.

Kiran, when I twinked a Cleric I was able to purchase lvl 50 gear (just not equip it). So yes, I was PvP geared as soon as I dinged 50. Unless they changed that, favor cap means nothing to Twinks until they run out of stuff to buy.
