I said something in my last thread requestiing to add more mounts and variety about Planarite bought mounts...
why not some faction themed Battle Squirrel !
I see it this way there's the 90% version which is just your average squirrel, but who looks like his pet counterpart. if you buy your Squirrel mount from Grim Students, you'll have it death themed and [...]. put some more planarite (and a Glorified Notoriety), and you have the same one, 110%, with a bigass armour.
Buy all Armoured Battle Squirrels, get an achievement giving you... a red one, like the chewbacca killing Nazis picture on page one. but with an armour

1) This isn't for laughs. I think an armored war squirrel would look quite frightening if modeled correctly (read: armor plating, spikes, glowing eyes).
2) I am one of those Domination spec Mages, but in my defense:
a) I read about the Dominator soul in Beta, which is what led me to roll a Mage and level primarily as a Dom.
b) I named my character "Khujo" after my Enchanter from EQ (again, because I knew I would roll a Dominator).
c) Dominators love squirrels almost as much as dogs... and since my name is a play off an infamous dog who was allegedly rabid... well, I hope my affinity for squirrels is starting to make a bit more sense here.
That said, since you showed your support, I will try my best not to transmog you the next time we meet.

The suggestions forum may not be as popular with the whiny spamy globs of dingo poop that is the majority of forum (ab)users, but Ive seen a few suggestions get implemented that stayed on top long enough ; )
I'd love to see the little furry creatures mounts as much as anyone, but what I'd really like is a plain fast horse.. not the drag queen horse with chrome bumpers and horns.
I yea your right, the art direction on a lot of the mounts is just .. meh... the turtle and the monkey, while interesting ideas, are just, weird looken...
I personally wish they would completely redo the mount system so that you can only buy a plain animal mount. you would have to equip it with things that improve its speed and the amount of dmg you can take before it falls and such, these would be like armor, reigns, saddles, mystical doohickeys of joy etc... from crafting and drops XD
Count me in on the Squirrel and the Bunny, but while were at it why not tame one of those Giant Scorpians and ride it.
Lets use some of the models that are out already out to oura dvantage. But I like the Festival idea to earn these, maybe minor World events.

And you are correct, sir, there is nothing to fear from showing your support as we're all friends and fellow squirrel enthusiasts here!
On the other hand, what you should fear is the sight of the enemy faction riding one of these majestic, fully armored, battle-ready creatures, bearing down on you at full speed... the only hope you have of survival being your two-headed tortoise, which you hastily mount in a vain attempt to escape your steadily approaching demise.
Don't be left out! Make sure your [Swift Battle Squirrel Bridle] is yours when these things go live so that you don't miss out! You don't want to become squirrel fodder.
Your Bear Cavalry has nothing on my Squirrel Cavalry.

I don't know about a battle squirrel, but a rabbit pet for rogues would sound interesting....
If you power level through the game in a month, you deserve to be bored. Slow down, enjoy all the story, and learn the game's wonderful lore. You'll be in for a much better experience.
I wonder how many people will have to request this before trion takes the hint....hmm 1000?
