    Just copy all inside the fuller download folder into the new one and hit recover, or rename it. It'll pick up where it left off.

    Happene to me when I first dl the beta client. I stopped it but it didn't resume at or near where it left off. Think it started wwuth a few hunded med instead of a few gigs

    So yeah if you;re looking at a long DL I wouldn't try to stop it

    What the guy a bit above said..2 things you can do..Go to your Rift folder and:

    1)Copy the files from the older download folder into the newer one

    or

    2)Rename the old folder to the name of the new folder (Obviously delete the new folder with the 200MB in it..The newer one)Voila..Back to your 6GB..This happened to me in beta also..easy to fix.

    Its not like you can play right away. Just start the download before you goto sleep.

    No issues here, stopped and started the download four different times. Resumed properly every single time. Download was completed after roughly 1 hour.

    Did you try hitting "recover"? That worked for me once.

    Whenever I "pause", I.e: cancel, my download recover picks up where I left off

    No idea sorry, i stopped/cancelled mine 3 times throughout the day to avoid being hit by my isp's "fair usage policy" and it carried on where it left off
