what! people who pre-order get 30 days free? and yet so far iv found NO way for EU players to buy this game with a debit card.... hurry up with paypal so i can pre-order! ot at least give people who buy it as soon as you can with paypal the free time as well

I live in Europe and I pre-ordered with my Visa Debit card from a Swedish bank. Trion doesn't know if your Visa (or MasterCard) is a credit or a debit card and they don't care. The difference is between you and the card issueing bank.

I live in the UK and pre ordered CE on Monday with my visa debit card, didn't encounter any problems, payment went out fine

I don't have a visa only maestro, to get visa id need to go into my bank and as to change my account to a different type which comes with a visa card

^ This. I'm not sure what the confusion is all about here. Trion isn't trying to bait people into wasting their complimentary 30-day sub by allowing them to play beta. The clock will start once servers go live*, and you have attached a Rift license to your Trion account. * I assume this includes the head-start period as well.

You get 30 days when you buy the game, just like EVERY OTHER MMO. You don't have to pre-order.

WoW doesn't come with complimentary game time, unless you count the 15day "trial" which disables many features (i.e. chat, auction house, joining guilds, etc.).

It;s the same as every other mmo. you buy the game, set up your account / subscription, input your credit card information....only AFTER entering your credit card info and your account is active will you get your free 30 days. after you enter your CC info and your account is active can you then cancel the account to not get billed if you do not want to. You'll stil get your 30 days.
