Just in case there are devs or CS people going through this thread I want to say that I like the sexy/revealing female armor styles, and it's a big part of the reason I choose to play female characters. I hope you keep the existing look and continue developing new models and textures for future armor with this style in mind.

To which I reply, more skimpy clothing for us fellas. I want to be able to flash my abs and manly muscles (or lack thereof) while strumming my lute. I mean c'mon how am I suppose to get a tan with all that armor on? Besides isn't that what magics for?

Why can't they just leave in the current armor, and then add an extra set also purchasable from the same vendor (and as "pick one of these items" options from the same npc) that's skimpier but with the same stats? It'd make everyone happy! >.<

I don't understand why everyone is so anti-skin in fantasy armor? I know it's mostly women who are personally insecure of their own bodies and don't like their avatars being that much hotter, but honestly?

I can almost agree with this.

I am a girl player, I "personally" do not like showing THAT much skin but in the game? Bikini please! After all, its not ME running around almost naked, its my pixel based character who I personally try to make as hot or cute as possible. Even if it means running in her undergarments.

Because the people posting here about how bothered they are by skimpy armor are determined to be offended. If you implemented both revealing and non-revealing costumes, then they would just start complaining about how awful it is that they have to look at other people's characters in revealing outfits.

If someone is absolutely determined to be offended by everything that doesn't match up with their sensibilities, you aren't going to placate them with compromises.

I can't speak for you personally, but a lot of people in this thread aren't just saying that they are offended by what their character is wearing. They're saying they're offended by the presence of revealing armor, period.

One thing I saw in some of the Asian made MMO's was armor fusing. You could find a piece of armor that you liked the look of, take the armor with the stats you like and fuse them together. It was apart of the dye system and customization. Not sure if you could gender switch the male and female armor types tho.
