Disconnection Issues?

I have just started playing Rift and have to come to notice a major issue: my connection dies every 15-30 minutes. I'm not sure if this is just me (and if it is please tell me) but if it isn't, then why does it keep dropping? Is it just a beta thing or will the game do this as well. I started playing the beta to see if i should buy this game but if this keeps happening, it'll be a major turn-off.

I think it's just you man. I haven't had any kind of connection issue, except when they take the servers down to do quick updates.

I have not had any 'issues' with disconnecting. The only disconnections I have had are with planned downtime for patches, which have been announced ahead of time in game, or during the initial Beta 5 launch when everyone was trying to log in at once.
