I just got notified that my account was set to Trial when I went to swap characters. Closed completely out of the game and came back in and it was fine.

I had this issue a few minutes ago.
Waiting for about 15 minutes worked for me. Shorter times didn't.
Yeah this just hit me too. Logged off for 30 mins, came back and said I couldn't log into my characters because I was on Rift Lite.
Same issue but some additional information... when I log all the way out after it tells me I am on trial (when changing characters to do my crafting) when I try to log back in it tells me my authentication has failed. (I use a password management program to cut and paste my password so it wasn't a typo or caps lock). Also if the game only checks for subscription and SL status when you start the patcher, how does it lose it when switching characters without going all the way out to the desktop? Note I am not upset I know you are working on the issue I am just trying to provide more information and understand the issue.
Now Im no longer getting a trial or I need to buy SL but my pvp rank went back to 50. This is whacky.
Tons of random disconnects for raid members tonight as well.

Just had the Rift Lite issue when trying to log in earlier. Just exited out the game and tried again and it worked fine.
I also had an issue posting on these forums and accessing the forums for another Trion game of which I shall not speak. Gave me the error telling me I didn't have sufficient privileges to access the page. Relogging on the forums also fixed this.
