It's definitely a timing-out thing; If I try and switch toons rapidly, I get the "RIFT LITE" message. If I sit on my level 19 toon in meridian for several minutes, I can go back to character screen and select a high level toon...however, it then claims I don't own Storm Legion. Camp back out, and reselect the same toon, and you can load in normally and travel to SL.

I got the RIFT error process running crazy after this and the game doesn't run anymore ....

I tried a recovery, nothing changed. Now I'm trying to get the files from a backup computer, but I'm not sure it will work ....

Hey all,

We're continuing to work on this - but as some players have mentioned, a complete exit from the game and re-logging in has allowed some to access their higher level characters again.

This may not work for everyone but we hope it provides temporary relief while we get it fixed from our end.

I just did that and I am now in without any Rift lite messages.

I was successful quitting rift, going to the website account management and logging in there and veryifying no problem, and then restarting the game. Not sure if it was the 2-3 minute timeout or fresh ping on my account that did it. I am on the Stormchaser edition payment too.

To pick up a fresh login (where it checks for things like Storm Legion access) it's the closing/relogging into the patcher that triggers it. Looks like logins are being successfully processed now so if you're still seeing this, make sure you've completely relogged!

My toon's prestige rank got reset down to rank 50, it was rank 73 just from last night.
I currently can't equip my pvp gears.

Yah, I logged into my level 50 alt and got the message I didn't have SL. I was able to fix it by re-logging but I lost all my XP and rested XP. Lame. Hopefully they can restore all the lost XP/PvP ranks etc. that people have been losing.

They need to hire some more QA people stat, this has been slipping badly with no signs of improvement.

Put in a ticket if your prestige was lowered. My friend said he noticed it pretty quick and submitting a ticket and a GM got to him just now. Apparently it's a known issue and they'll be able to get you back to where you were.

^ Yep! If you're missing exp or prestige ranks after having tried to log in during the issues earlier, submit a CS ticket to get fixed up.
