    I've gotten the 10 stone victory award plenty of times from tagging Draakmaul alone in a few of his very many appearances. Additionally, the achievements seemed based entirely on tagging the boss in many cases.

    It certainly stood out with the final boss of the Silver Army event. The event itself goes on forever with the despawning lightning rods, and then the last boss drops quite literally within 20 seconds. He didn't get a chance to do his emote/AoE a single time.

    Did an invasion last night. One group short of a full raid. Last Rift closed, started on our way to boss, three of us stopped to help someone. We missed the boss, it was dead within minutes.

    Bless you whiners that complained the HP was too high. More fool Trion for listening.

    I don't care so much when I haven't been there from the start, but when you've helped kill every invader and close every Rift, it really is quite bothersome.

    Seems to work 95% of the time.

    If I was in a smaller guild though I would probably make it a point to run to the bosses spawn point before the last of the objectives are done. That steeps boss takes like 15 minutes to kill with the whole server there, should be plenty enough time.

    Yes that does work but is that the way they intended it to be? It's pretty stupid that you need to call in a guild banner just to be able to get to the last boss in time.

    It's like they are discouraging players from actually 'playing'. The ones that are in the zone doing the objectives get screwed if they don't have people already at the boss when it spawns. It's like the want players to sit and camp the spawn and wait for others to complete the objectives.

    I don't even understand. Stop being lazy and tag some zone mobs. Literally all you have to do is hit one invasion mob, tag one rift, drop a dot on the boss and you get full credit. ANY one of those things gives you full credit for the event. This has nothing to do with boss hp being to low, and more to with people expecting to show up at the last second second and leech infinity stones. While some of the bosses could use a hp buff ( honestly I think it's bugged and they aren't getting the bonus hp from more ascended being nearby) you have plenty of time to help complete zone objectives. /thread

    ^ is very uninformed, you do not get full credit if you do not contact the boss and they die in less than 2 mins

    this is what you get when you complain on forums

    The problem right now is that ****** guilds will get one person to wait at the spawn point while the others do the requirements, then the person waiting will drop a guild banner once the boss spawns. Then that (usually) full raid of ****** guildies burn the boss down without any consideration for other players.

    But in the end, it doesn't really matter. As long as you contributed to even one of the objectives, you will get the bulk of the Planar Currency (ES or IS). You only miss out on 1 (2 if you get lucky with the bonus) for missing the boss. The current HP is much better in the long run. There won't be multiple raids worth of people doing the zone event a month or two from now, and then it will be good that the HP isn't stupidly high.

    Yup happens alot in the earth event in Steppes. Some guilds aren't even there for the events to close rifts. Once everyone else clears the rifts and invasions. Surprise! 20 people at the boss already!

    Here's how every level 60 event goes:

    A raid or two of patsies run around completing the event objectives, then when the boss spawns, guildies throw down a banner and 40 people suddenly appear to kill the boss, often leaving the people who did the event behind.

    Sure everybody gets the reward, but that's exactly why people wait until the last minute to join the event.

    I personally prefer this. Those that squat waiting for the boss to pop just to tag it after others do the work got old. If you want rewards, help. Close a rift. Kill a few invasions. Then you can go back to being AFK. Most of the new achievements don't even require fighting the boss anyway.

    As with Buddhism, the middle way is the best.

    Whilst, to your eternal credit and with much gratitude, you do love to give people what they want when they say they want a tail on Landslide, or try and fix conquest, or change the beautiful song of the event crow to a horrid Terran squawk, or the zone bosses to be easier to kill you have to know that there are also people who like it the old way.

    Please try to find a middle ground. Maybe take things down slowly rather than knee jerk it.

    Almost 99 times out of a 100 you actually had the better way in the start but then go overboard tweaking and lose it.

    If I may please make a suggestion, right now, put the bosses back to 90% of their health last week and slowly take it down from there.

    Can't really invoke the middle ground and demand a 90% slope. 50% for some, maybe, but if this is just an issue reflective of buggy scaling, like literal events otherwise being bugged, I'm sure we'll see some tweak.

    This has nothing to do with a guild banner or anything like that. Bosses die too quickly period!

    I can engage a boss even when I am alone as it does F-all dmg (one or two excluded). I killed bosses with less then 10 people in less then a minute or two (bless my bear for running like crazy).

    It is crazy they die so quick, they are not boss-worthy atm.

    It's the best way to seek. Slowly ramp it down. Far better than a knee-jerk move.

    I know I've been annoyed the last two events, closing rifts and then missing the boss. Yes, I get my 10 stones but it's like the boring bit's for naught when the boss dies before you get there.

    These zones are huge.

    Pretty sure all bosses were nerfed down to 10% original HP, thats way way too big a nerf, bosses die on Icewatch in 20 seconds now with 200 players there, its stupid.
