Tried preordering at my local EB Games today (I live in Canada), but it's not even in EB's database, so I couldn't preorder it. I called other EB's and other stores nearby, and got the same answer. Can we not preorder Storm Legion in Canada or something? -.-

I've been informed today that EB Games Canada requires physical cards for their pre-order (GameStop should print your code on your pre-order receipt) these cards are supposed to arrive in-stores this week.

Thanks for the info though - we're trying to make sure that offers and information are being released correctly to all pre-order customers as best as we can!

Any chance if you could confirm whether preorder codes will be available for EBGames Australia also? Noticed that the listing is finally available, however there's no mention of preorder codes.

My preference would be to get the box and the flame cape!!

Recently the auto-update hit for a year access before getting a chance to prepare, but finding no information as to any permissions means NO Storm Legion expansion. This means having to buy the game anyway, and figure to pre-order it from Best Buy like the physical CE. Looking for status and details not found anywhere else:

Any known issues with Best Buy online pre-order for physical versions (not giving codes, etc)?
Is there a physical CE for SL or just standard (all versions digital)?
What are the actual differences of the 3 versions (i.e. whats the lowest/highest)?
If pre-ordering standard, can it be immediately be upgraded to other versions, including digital CE, and receive ALL benefits (every pre-order item as well as the Best Buy cape)?
What are the upgrading costs for each?

cant comment on the psysical version. i do know there are some problems with codes at GS, dunno about others.

What I CAN tell you:
Upgrading to Infinite is very simple and can be even done ingame via the cash-shop, price is €10,-. dunno what the price is in your currency.
offcourse you can also just do this via your account.
You will NOT recieving all pre-order items. You recieve just the pre-order item from the store you pre-order from(so technically, youw ant all capes, you preorder at all shops. I did hear that the shops do already give you the preorder code for the cape. But as I got SL with the 1yr deal, I dont speak out of own experience in this)

Storm Legion Infinite(CE-edition)

No, not really. Though they should indeed say that its a pre-purchase instead of a pre-order.
those 2 defenitions are mixed up a lot, also by myself.
Personally rather have a pre-purchase over a pre-order. Just be done with it :P

If you preorder a physical copy from Best Buy, go to Trion's Customer Service and send them a copy of your receipt, they'll give you any preorder bonuses. Also, when you preorder from Best Buy, they charge you right away.

With 1.11 around the corner I just wanted to clarify when Exodus of the Storm Queen will become available.

With the release of 1.11 the next World Event, Tempest Rising, will begin - this sets the stage and heralds in the unleashing of Crucia, through the World Event the climax will build and in Phase 3 the dungeon will unlock for anyone who has pre-ordered.

Phase 3 will start about 2 weeks prior to Storm Legion's release.

Hmm. Nov 13 SL release date, minus two weeks = Oct 30 phase 3 start. Minus 1 week for each phase to change over...

Yep.. sounds like 1 phase per week until Storm Legion. Phase 1 is air planar activity increasing, Phase 2 is the invasion of the Storm Legion, and Phase 3 is Crucia escaping.

Dunno though how long the 4th phase is. It could just be the one week, or its actually the date listed on the PTS (until February, to make sure everyone who gets the expansion within a reasonable time, is able to experience the world event?)

So, the version gotten from adding a year to an account is the same as the standard, just in this case not received and having to be purchased separately? If so, can someone confirm if there is a physical CE or just the physical standard and required digital upgrade? If this is the case, I'll order from Best Buy today and try getting the immediate upgrade.
