It will definitely be interesting to see how they pull off having two new continents with a majority (if not all) of that content being for 50-60. I really hope the zones are as well detailed as (if not moreso than) what we have in Mathosia + Ember Isle. I love how they jam-packed the zones with so much awesome bits of scenery and puzzles and other stuff to where I hope that doesn't die down in Storm Legion.
But... with that much space, it seems like there'll be a lot to do, but the question I'm wondering is whether or not you'll have to go through a majority of it to level up to 60. If it's a slow grind to 60 that might be bad... but if 60 is achievable in a week or two that might not be good also unless they have plenty of endgame content right off the bat.
Which leaves another concern: RIFT's endgame was... very lacking when it first came out from what I heard (I was one of the many who left after the first month - mostly because I didn't want to spend $15.00 per month on it yet; came back in late december though and have been hooked on Rift since xD). That of course grew rapidly over the course of a year and five months, but... with all the stuff there is to do at level 50, if that dies down at 60 that might not end up going very well. Though I think I heard there'll be like... 3 raids and a Chronicle? *shrug*
Either way, really looking forward to hearing more about Storm Legion.
And... yeahhh... hopefully the engine will perform better in SL. Otherwise that colossus battle might end up becoming quite the lagfest x.x
Also I really hope the soul revamping will make it to where there are multiple "top" soul builds. . . Kind of sad that souls such as Necromancer and Elemtnalist, for example, aren't very useful at all for anything other than soloing stuff. And I don't think I've ever seen a high-end player using Stormcaller...
