    Default This is funny...

    From the patch notes:

Tweaked some backend stuff that should hopefully kind of maybe have a positive effect on lag reported while Conquest is active.
    hopefully/kind of/maybe?

Umm...could you possibly be a little bit more confident in your work TRION?

Forum dwellers should take a queue from the Trion staff and lighten up.

Hah - so sometimes, an engineer works their crazy code-language alchemy, or performs the proper sacrificial rituals, or finds something that can be reworked to perform more efficiently. No functional gameplay change for the players, but behind the scenes the change has a known efficiency increase. The side effect of some of these cases can mean improved performance on the live environment - i.e. less server lag.

Note 'CAN mean improved performance' - we can't always see how much until it's running under live shard conditions. We still want to call these out in case of unexpected not-so-positive side effects so people may have context as to why.

The number of 'uncertainty words' used in a particular patch note line is purely my own editorial freedom and has no relation to the actual proportion of uncertainty behind a specific change.
