Account Bound PA: The Solution People Haven't Seen

I'm not going to explain aspects of an encounter to someone who hasn't bothered to do their own research nor appears to have any aspirations of reaching it. The MMO(s) were Legend Of Mir 2 and 3.

Wasn't referring to your ambitions, simply for the guy who was coming up with false statements about encounters, who you pointed out I didn't explain the full strat and mechanics to :P

yes, but i would like to hear how pa is required for laethys and how much, since i plan to be there eventually =)

If you're melee, earth resist and as much endurance as poss

Also rogues can cheese orbs by using cleanse soul (pvp tree) at the right time.

The rest is just required because it's a hell of a dps check.

soooo it just uses stats, it doesnt require PA, am i correct?

X boss fight is bad for melee, so hey Beer swap your PA to your rogue and bring him in. Okay this next fight favors melee/cleave, hop back on your warrior and swap your PA back.

I'd rather see a shared PA system so these new souls we have coming won't be forced... and here comes that word that killed WoW for me... homogenization.

I don't know whether you know this, but PA = stats... (a lot of them)

yes i did know this, but stats are also gained from gear ( not sure if you knew this) so i'm saying that you should be able to meet those dps checks with the gear and minimal amounts of PA

When you decide on what you mean maybe it's worth discussing... until then, no guilds are killing Laethys without the average PA being well over 400 per raid member.

I think that all unspent PA should be available account-wide to any level 50s you have. This would allow you to switch your main character without losing months of work while providing an additional money sink. It'd still cost 100 plat per PA respec, so you couldn't just switch back and forth between characters willy nilly unless you were filthy rich.

I for one would love to switch classes with the expansion, but I probably won't if it means losing my 672 PA levels.

You're not alone in this and it's why toon restricted PA has to be done away with.
