Well, in order to get more lures, you need the event plant spawns, so you can only fish until you're out of the lures.

Actually, I believe you could fish up Sunfish using a Sunfish Lure. I know it's let me get them fishing in normal water nowhere near a Summer Sunplant, so I assume it would continue to work like that outside of Summerfest.

That was my thinking as well. At first I thought the lures were to make the fish quests a bit easier but tbh, for the past week I have had enough fish in stock to complete the quests due to trying to get the weeds for the lure quest. I'm just stock piling the lures at this point.

Well, you kind of need the daily to make the po'boys in order to have the recipe, so the fish will be useless without that borrowed recipe ;)

No you don't, the Chef NPC sells a permanent Sunfish Po'boy recipe.

cd 24 h, lasts about 3 min? could last much longer.. its totally not even 5 min! not sure is there difference looted or not looted campfire.

What's the point to the permanent po'boy recipe if you can only obtain the ingredients during Summerfest and during Summerfest you get a temporary recipe anyway?

This is what I really, really don't understand. A 24-hour cooldown for a cute little fire that only gives one po'boy, which does nothing to buff/heal your character? For ****'s sake Tempered Orichalcum's cooldown is 4 hours less and you can sell those for 15 plat or make crafted gear. Love ya Trion, but seriously?
