Rift Digital Collecters Key

i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find the game key for it? i just wanna see if i can activate it on steam. thanks.

dont think you get one, nor would you really need one. using steam to back up your game would only help on the actual rift game, the digital collectors just gives you in-game items so there is nothing to back up........

i just wanna play rift so i can still talk to my friends on steam. its hard to know if i get messaged

Unless you have a physical copy of rift you don't have a key.

Could try support and see if they can give you one, though.

Since you purchased Rift through our website the cd key is applied to your account automatically by the system, so while you do own the game, there isn't really a cd key for your copy of Rift. That being said, you would not be able to add Rift to your Steam library, the most you would be able to do is add a shortcut to Steam for Rift.

To elaborate on that GM response, to add shortcuts on Steam, go to "Games > Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library" and pick Rift.

Rift will appear in your games list, and launching it through Steam will give you access to the Steam Overlay (Default Shift+Tab) just like it would if you owned it on Steam in the first place. Your friends will also see when you're playing Rift, although it won't track any play time on Steam.
