Transfer NA < - > EU, status?

Any news about the possibility to transfer between regions?

I'm moving soon from NA to Europe and will have to give up my character completely if I can't transfer.

We can transfer from EU and NA to the PTS, why can't we transfer to the other region? I really don't want to start up from scratch again and most likely just will cancel my sub if this isn't addressed.

I even wouldn't mind if it was a paid service or if I could only transfer my cash and currencies to my new character but starting anew, broke and without friends is not something I'm likely to do.

I live in Europe and play on the NA shards, not sure why you would have to give your character up for this move as you can choose the region in settings before you put your password into the patcher. Hope this helps you somewhat.

You can, however, continue to play on the US servers once you move.

Yes but you could not transfer that character to an EU shard. He wants to play at EU times once he moves there, and will struggle to find many people on if he is stuck on NA shards.

I know that it is possible, I even created a new character already to check out some shards. But I won't be able to raid with my main character (HK/ID geared, relic) nor will I be able to kick start a new character for play during prime-time with the platinum and the 300 skill tradeskills etc I built up on my present characters.

It will be 1am east coast when I can be on line. Imagine queing as a dps for random dungeons, warfronts or trying to get into a raid at that hour.

Are you sure? That'd mean you'll be playing at around 6am in Europe, that would probably leave you with the possibility of late night PST guilds... or even Australian guilds still on the NA servers.

I have got a lvl 50 Hk ID toon on the NA severs then i moved and now I have to play a lvl 50 with no gear.
It would be nice if they could do something to fix thins i want my main back i hate trying to get back up to where I was when i could be Raiding HK and ID but right now i just don't have the gear.
