Rift: Storm Legion?

I don't like it. imo

EDIT: I guess they could make it so that Crucia content, overall-ish, is expansion worthy, and later on Regulos is planar content - draw out the story more in some ways. We'll see. I'm OPEN to this, but iffy about how it'll work. I did originally expect raiders to kill Crucia by the end of the year 2012 ;)

They could very well be making an expansion that focuses on Air (and the larger concept of a 'Storm Legion' = all living under Crucia's sway, not just a cult), just as mainland 1.0 Telara focuses 1/3-1/2 of its content just on Death. A few epic saga of Air, etc etc

Considering they've been making crucia this huge mastermind with the ability to mind control anyone from anywhere the best example being making the icewatch think they are keeping her locked up when in fact they are keeping people out because she dosent want to be disturbed in her plans (which include plotting her own siblings into a civil war with eachother ie. bloodstorm vs regulos then mysteriosly dropping out while everyone wipes.)
She would be a great boss for an expansion if they carry on with this line of thinking. Could you imagine who in the world she could warp into doing her bidding? Entire armies at her bidding other than a dragon cult acting out in the open (again icewatch but likely much more than just them). From the way trion has been talking her up she seems to have control over everything living while regulos controlls the dead.

Crucia has always been the biggest threat next to Regulos in my opinion, so having the expansion have some focus on her makes sense.

I love this idea. The storyline with crucia and regulos is so rich considering they were once lovers (and possible are still a couple). We just wiped out the siblings avatars, and crucia is the final dragon left on telara....

My theory is that regulos and crucia planned this from the beginning. By feigning hatred to regulos crucia was able to manipulate the dragons against each other leading to their improsonment and crucias voluntary imprisonment. Regulos's true form is working from the planes, while crucia's avatar is able to work directly on telara while the other dragons have us distracted. Regulos wanted the ward up because he knew the vigil would not be able to directly interact as well, which required him to be banished from telara, but he left his key to coming back...crucia who manipulated everything that has happened so far just for this moment which is perfect for an entire expansion.

I think its gonna be amazing and I'd hate to see it all go down in a quick raid.

Its mostly from alot of the bits and pieces from the diffrent lore teasers they have been handing out over the passed year. Like the planned betrayal was mentioned in the maelforge backstory.

The icewatch mind control stuff was from a teaser about the storm legion and some of the stuff said by the chick in front of laethys' door in CC when you approach her.

other things are from the other teasers along the way.

you can be you know, just equip one of those cloudborn ice necks and wander around whitefall. Crucia will occasionally stun you for a second or two and whisper sweet nothings in your ear
