This is very exciting. My prediction is we will see the expansion focused around Crucia. We will take down Regulos prior to the expansion and you will see Crucia and the Storm Legion step in during the last 1% of the encounter and destroy Regulos leaving only she and her armies to dominate Telara.
Just my opinion.

I still find it possible that we could fight the other 4 dragons in undead-thrall form though, then Kain, then Regulos :P
It does seem confirmed that 1.0 Rift is the story of Death - how the Guardians avenge the Shade and how the Defiants truly stop Terminus - and 2.0 Rift may be STORMMM LEGIONNNN, all about Air and Crucia's domination.
I'm not gonna repost the pics because Trion clearly does not want them ;)
But yes, it looks like a possibility that Storm Legion will be one of:
-a major major update patch
-a 'semi-full-expansion for free' like EVE does
-a full and pricey (aka economic suicide for this game imo, unless they offer 1.0 Rift for free along with it) expansion like WoW does, etc

My theory is that crucia has taken over trion. They are mind controlled and with all these "accident" blips from time to time to entice us to salivate over her products until all of the world is sitting in front of their computers mesmorized while playing her game, all the while recieving subliminal messages that will end up in her taking over the world.
Or it could be an expansion.
