It's clearly announcing the following -
RvR
3rd faction
I am not gonna quote parts of it to prove this, just READ the damn thing. Especially pay attention to any mentions of animals, and maybe you will be able to fire off more than 1 brain cell.
Anyone who can't see that is pretty much beyond hope. Also extreme lol at the people thinking this is a hack: yeah if someone got ahold of a Trion account they'd definitely spend time posting poems, rather than say, deleting every forum.
Karlis - Dayblind, formerly (and always in my heart) Briarcliff
Hugs!
I have 2 level 50 warriors - dedication to the cause.

.... To Protect
....... To Save
......... To Rule
What is your choice, Ascended?

Bacon is as bacon does
To Fight..
To Protect = ? Guardians?
To Save = ? Also sounds like Guardians but..? (I base this off the old trailer - "We will save Telara!" /cueepicmusic)
To Rule = Defiants?
Not sure.
I will choose to save Telara, over anything. Even with my main being a Defiant. I care little for any new Ethian-type empire, and I reject spirit worship, and even most of the Guardians. My Kelari will however WORK with anyone who has a plan which will work. He believed Zareph to offer the best chance of that, not Orphiel.
EDIT: Actually, 'Save' would be Defiants. They do wish to 'remake' the world, but a new 'Ethian Empire' is NOT on their to-do list. They did learn, to an extent, their prior mistakes.
'To Rule' may be a 3rd faction.

IMO this is just fluff saying that something is coming that means to destroy Telara. Like the zone-wide "You feel X" that heralds a zone event. The voices echoed in chamber halls,
Through valleys wide and darkened den
The time has come for all to heed
For the flesh of Telara shall be rend
Obvious a third faction that is neither Guardian nor Defiant but isn't part of whatever the first hints at; note that this part is in answer to the voices wanting to destroy Telara, so the three parts of the blade are Guardian, Defiant and ???. My guess is a mercenary faction made up of Defiant and Guardian, or even REMOVING the faction barrier entirely. Two edges bleed could refer to the Guardian and Defiant in spirit, not physical bleeding as in being human - the third "edge" is a faction alliance - also note the visual of a sword: There are two edges that BOTH meet to form the tip of the blade. As an answer comes with great resound
The drums of war fill the bitter air
Three points the blade, but two edges bleed
Not merely one thrust for the bloody fare
Which faction will you choose to fight Crucia; hinting at a faction change or even being able to go back and forth between factions (imagine a religious Defiant, or an athiest/heretic Guardian)The fog of war, blood bridle deep
The time is now, a chance to decide
Which song you sing, which promise you keep
To bear upon Death's dear sweet bride
Not quite sure here, growing seeds could refer to a far-reaching plot of Crucia's, the "empire spanning from sea to sea" could refer to Crucia's army planning for total conquest - the Storm Legion seems very militaristic in nature. No clue about the iron ram, might be something yet to come, or could be some kind of reference to Crucia herself. The Storm Legion artifact set indicates they use metal for insignias:Growing seeds of domination born
All opposition shall give way
To an empire spanning from sea to sea
The iron Ram the only way
Bronze Hawk
Iron Skull
Gold Skull
Silver Griffon
So maybe "Iron Ram" is something related to that, or possibly the nickname of a powerful lieutenant of Crucia?
Refers to Ascended Guardians; "never to rule but born of war" refers to the fact that Guardian Ascended were born out of the Mathosian Civil War, but none could claim the throne of old Mathosia.A promise given forever more
To conquer and to shed all fear
Never to rule, but born of war
The Lion’s vigil to protect those held dear.
Refers to Ascended Defiant. "Consequence of a latter day" is the grim future. "Telara is doomed by our ill born fate" refers to the Defiant machines breaking the Ward in the first place, but "unless we continue to ascend" indicates that since the Defiant now have Ascended of their own they can prevent the future from happening. The Raven’s consequence of a latter day,
Our destruction will meet no end
Telara is doomed by our ill born fate
Unless we continue to ascend.

http://www.whats-your-sign.com/raven-symbolism.htmlRam Meanings and Symbolic Thoughts about the Ram
The animal symbolism of the ram speaks of: Power, Force, Drive, Energy, Virility, Protection, Fearlessness.
A look into mythology will reveal the ram was associated with many gods over time. And so, if a god amongst the people, wouldn't you agree these are all admirable qualities?
The Celtic god Cernunnos is shown with the ram. Some depictions show him seated with a ram-headed snake by his side a symbolic gesture of renewal and power.
In ancient Egypt the god Amun-Ra took on the persona of Khnum, the creator god who was always depicted with a ram's head.
In Scandinavia, Thor was close with the ram, and was fabled to use rams to pull his chariot.
Other gods connected to the strong-willed ram are:
