Trion: Is the new "epic" fire quest saga staying around?

It's been decided these quests will be staying around as the Epic Fire Saga - we might need to do some tinkering so it might vanish temporarily after the event but our plan is to make it a permanent chain

Also - as a heads up to everyone, we're extending the 1.8 World Event another week to May 24th. We know not everyone has had a chance to check it out yet and didn't want you to feel rushed!

Hoping those who have already done parts of it will have our participation recorded for any Achievements for the Epic Fire Saga quest (just like the Life/Death/Water)

I rarely have a reason to post on the forums. I've been trolled by Trion with this quest, I'm missing the Antenna and I've done over 30 events, just for this single item! I put in a ticket, and was told "This is an epic quest, it's supposed to be hard" or "You aren't staying for the full event, you need to participate for the whole thing" although I can tag an invasion, leave, and get my other items, cells, and ISS with no problem. So I said what the hell, did another 10 more COMPLETE events and nothing.

EXTENDING THE QUEST DOES NOT FIX THE ISSUES WITH IT!

I'm happy the quests will stay.. but I've done well over 30ish events for ONE item and I haven't gotten it. There's epic and then there's annoying as wet floor after a shower.

Hopefully I will get it today after another million fire/earth events.

If this quest chain is to be listed alongside the Death Saga and Water Saga, then it is a very lame saga quest chain.

By itself, it's fine. But it does not meet the standard set forth by the existing sagas.

I didn't find any followup on this... the questline has vanished with world event, but didn't pop back.... are you guys still planning to make it permanent ?

They said previously that whilst the quest chain would be returning in the future, it would be disappearing for a time to make it work outside of the World Event. I imagine that this is currently on their "To-Do" list and should return when it can stand on it's own without the use of the World Event NPCs.

also a couple of the stages interfered with other standard quests, i think the one killing the 4 bosses in shimmer messed with the daily area, and the kidney stealing quest, so theyre probably gonna move those around if its staying permanently.. or make them soloable mobs
