It is very likely that it is only active during the world event.
So you should prepare to only have 4-5 more days to complete it. But IMO, the 3rd phase of the event ought to be longer than a week... so I'm hoping for it to last 2-3 weeks instead, and give us until at least the middle of May.

I didn't realise the quests continued past the first 3 and there were more unlocks with the phases until a bit too late to have large blocks of personal time to do them and the power cells one especially takes a lot of time depending on your realm activity. Really awesome rewards for finishing the whole chain though, so I was wondering if it's the fire/earth saga or if there'd be something else...
IMO, this chain ought to be available permanently. How many players, myself included, are getting really stressed about getting it completed in time? On one character, much less alts! The primary difficulty seems to be the abysmal drop rate for the objects in "Parcel Through the Cracks", but there is also tons of forced grouping, and the chain is much longer than I think most people will anticipate. Trion was looking for trouble with a chain like this only being workable for 3 weeks.

agreed. haven't had much play time lately and I am starting to realise that if the quest line goes away with the world event it is very unlikely I will not be able to get it done. I really wish Trion would give more info about some things. I can understand they want people to discover things and be rewarded for exploring and that's great. IMO it gets annoying though when u don't have enough information on things that matter like will this questline still be available when the world event ends
there is a fine line between keeping the mystery and joy of discovery and just keeping people in the dark and ticking them off.
After closing about a dozen earth and fire rifts, and only getting one drop on the 15 thingamajigs to turn in, I gave up.
If there's a questline to this event, I don't care anymore.
does anyone know what do you get from completing all the storyline? the final reward...
this event so far is the most boring event iver seen.
Shh, no tears, only dreams now.
It specifies major earth/fire rifts - grab someone with the appropriate t2 planar lure and go for it. You get two per fully closed appropriate rift. I don't know if experts or raid rifts count, although I do think I got some from the earth RR.
Now, Parcels on the other hand....
It should be noted that, for whatever reason, the T1 caster weapon rewards staff at the end of the whole chain has physical crit stat on it. 32 to be exact.
I don't know if that was an error, or intentional, but more Wisdom or spell crit would be nice.
You also get a pet at the end of the chain too.
Also to note, the T1 gloves count towards the blighted set bonus.
AND a tip for those doing the parcel quests. Low level earth/fire events do drop the items.

I should add that this chain should be made permanent and just made into the wanton epic saga.
That's pretty much what it is.
You go all over the place doing group quests, go experts, and what not.
Also READ the quest, especially the last one and what it says, and what the NPC say. It heavily implies something.
The weapons have a unique fire themed skin and are T1 raid equivalent. The mini is called Keko and is an earth spirit companion with the skin introduced in EI.
For the major rifts, using the regular lure unlocked with PAs (eg. Fire Lure) on a major tear will force spawn a major rift of that element so that's an easy way to get the right rifts to farm for the first stage.
The main issue is, as always, is getting groups to do the quests you can't solo since unless you have guild/friends people are generally very unwilling to help if they don't get anything out of it.

This would in inconsistent with how they have treated story lines quests so far, so in all likelihood you're wrong. the Cult Saga was not part of an event, but it still available. The Water Saga, on the other hand was part of an event, and is also still very much available. It would also be a massive waste of effort to make a story line quest like this only to remove it after three weeks.
Its very unlikely that the Fire Saga will ever go away.
I'm wondering if the event currency will stay in the rewards still if the quest will still be around. However, a purple about whether the quest will still be around would be nice.
