A lot of those NPCs are ones that can't be attacked at all, ever. So they'll never show up as "discovered".

My shard shows as having Whitefall Steppes Super Star unachieved, but I know that's not true.

Most of the "quests" that show are Instant Adventures quests, which obviously have been completed many times over. Maybe the ones your systems are pulling are old versions that no longer trigger and will never be completed.

I rather thought the point of discovery was to, well... discover.
Not to look up and see what and were to go knock something off a list. /shrug.

It's all Trion's data, we're just parsing it. See my comment about needing a "deprecated" flag in the data, lol.

I've just had a look at the undiscovered item of my shard and I ended up with a list with 13 899 entries and without any filtering option or research tool, not very user-friendly.
So is it possible to add the same filtering tools we have when we brose the "normal" database ?

I can certainly ask if that's doable.

The data for undiscovered NPC's didn't seem very accurate. Adrianna weaver for instance not likely that she is undiscovered.

You are probably right. Though often times the same npc exists in different areas sometimes multiple spots in the same zone. It could be, however unlikely that it's not that she hasn't been discovered it's that a specific spawn of her hasn't been discovered.

But she is friendly to both factions is she not?
I would assume NPC's that can't be killed don't make it into the list as that 'spawn', as discovery for NPC's is in fact kill.

That said, in Zareph's, don't the neutral/friendly NPC's, Adrianna included, become hostile towards PvP activity? So maybe there is an Adrianna in some neutral camp (or not) tucked away so as not to aggro, but who will aggro if PvP activity takes place. Freemarch lakeside? Up in the hills in SM?

Ehhh some of these theres no way are right. @_@ It's showing some older DH/GP drops as not being looted.

A suggestion : add a checkbox to only show items that have at least been discovered on "a few" (1? 2? 3?) servers.

It should show most old undiscovered stuff and filter out the test/fake entries. It obviously wouldn't work for new stuff, but I guess the delay on database updates from Trion already prevents discoveries to be accurate for new content.

Hrm, I can run that up the pole, but it sounds impractical to me.

What we're really hoping for is that hypothetical deprecated flag when something is no longer active in the game. That would take care of all that in one swell foop.
