Well, if the War Trophies work like other quest items, a group of 5 killing 1 enemy player gets 5 trophies total, one for each player. It means doing a Port Scion with a 5 man premade could result in hundreds of trophies just by themselves.

We'll have to see how it actually works when the fix is implemented.

But again, War Trophies are bugged right now. I mean, do you really think not getting a trophy until they've been dead for 1 minute is the intended manner of getting them?

Well if I have to wait another week to fish, it's no skin off my nose. There really isn't anything in 1.8 for me other than that, but yay for fishing.
More so that I get to play my cleric another week before my favorite spec gets gutted.

But another week of these silly zone events? Booo!



Could also look at it as a free alt week for those who, for some weird reason, can't play their alts as they need to play mains in prep for ID.

Did you happen to ask if the Defiant/Guardian "invasions" during zone events count? We had one last night - it was insane. The NPCs weren't really our targets, obviously, because I'm on a PvP server, but you might see if smacking those invading NPCs will count for your side's 100k.

well they are not bugged in open world only on war fronts

and yes it will work the same in war fronts

its to do with the spawn camping thing, same happens in PS if u spawn camp ppl on the bridge then you dont get any loot from them

I agree with a previous poster that said drop a 0 from phase 5, keep it 1 week, but extend week 6 to 2 weeks if update 1.8 needs more time *nod*

Here we go, same song and dance routine from the usual suspects...waaaaah we have nothing to do, waaaaah eight months waiting for a new 20 man raid waaaaah...

Guess Chronicles, new 10 man raid, Instant Adventures, a new Warfront, Pee Vee Pee Rifts, a whole new zone with Ember Isle, T2 Raid Rifts...list goes on and on was mere 'fluff' added, right?

Just did the daily kill 10 guardians quest on wolfsbane....i was not a merc, and it did not count toward the phase goal.

I'd rather see this too. Give all servers 100k on their Phase 5 to kiss and make up and change P6 to two weeks. People on Laethys are so disgusted by P5 right now that they're barely even trying anymore... can't imagine how not-thrilled they'll be to see a second week of it.

It was Sunday afternoon.
It was the same time at which Phase 5 had started on Thursday.
I saw that Defiant on Keenblade had managed to slog out 3,000 of the 100,000 kills we would need.

Three Days = Three Thousand Kills.

At this rate we'll complete Phase 5 around July 10th, and we're a fairly well populated server.

Just a couple comments...
First, the number of grindy quest completions is just stupidly high.
Second, we've already got our mounts.
Third, the reward of a title is simply not worth the time investment.

If this is some sort of psychological experiment, Trion, then I hope you learned something from it.

Funnily enough, that question (and sociological) has popped into my head at several points lately, starting with 1.7 dust reclassification and throughout this event.

I dont care much for PvE, the great bulk of 1.8 is therefopre pretty meaningless to me. However, prolonging the agony of this world event is a horrid idea.

I believe Seastone defiants are somewhere around the 6 or 7k mark.... This is probably the most populated PvP server atm, 6k is ridiculous after a weekend. Dont extend it, just do a hotfix so that when we log back we are all at 99,999 and have done with it.

We can still enjoy the 'fun' of the event, should we happen to see it at any point, i havent yet. We just wouldnt have to worry about the target.
