I can't believe I am saying this, but in hindsight I really miss EQ Patch days. Looking back I wonder if those guys had a competition to see what fun and wackiness they could unleash upon us rabid players. The icing on the cake was that all the raid guilds would be rubbing their hands in anticipation because patch meant server reset which meant raid spawn resets. So we knew we'd have targets but knew it would be horribly buggy. Pull teams running off to get mobs and falling through the world. Healers logging in to find out they were rolled back 15 levels and couldn't even cast any of their spells or get into the zones. Great fun

Rift has the least amount of down time I have ever seen in an mmo. It is ridiculous to whine about it, but people still do obviously.

Should compensate us with a PA level for every 20 mins its been down. This battlegroup always seems to have all the issues.

The sun is shining here, it's a lovely day. You could go for a walk outside or take care of some chores whilst you wait so you may enjoy uninterrupted gameplay when the servers are up.

Seriously, you're asking for a flawless product but you won't let them have downtime to fix the problems that inevitably occurs now and then? Staring long and hard at the servers won't magically fix everything you know.

CoH had three consecutive days of 8+ hour downtime not that long ago. You guys are complaining about a couple of hours not even affecting all servers due to hardware upgrades? Most MMOs, hardware upgrades are a full-day outage.

Dude I am busy 7 days a week, doing those things among others...they have the right to fix their servers i have the right to be mad when it falls on my day off and downtime goes from 2 hours to all day. end of story.

totally agree supernovaa, it's a disgrace next time Trion should phone you first to check when your day off is, they dropped the ball this time when they didn't speak to you first.
