Autoflag Issue?

Although I've kept my sub going since head start, I haven't played much the last couple of months. When I have played, it was mostly alts trying to get back into the swing of things or doing Chronicles with my mage.

I have my PvP autoflag not checked. Once all the changes that were put in early on in the game were in place, I got flagged I think once in months. I thought the no PvP implementation was the best thing since sliced bread.

So, tonight I finally felt up to speed enough to jump into an invasion in Stillmoor. I got flagged for PvP constantly. Has something changed, am I forgetting something, or is the flag not working as intended? I've always loved that I never had to worry about PvP. After tonight, though I had a ton of fun overall with the invasion, I'm a bit skittish about going in again if I'm going to get flagged.

Pretty sure healing someone that is flagged flags you as well, so if you had any form of group healing going on that would explain it.

Or you're playing on a PvP shard.

It never did in the past, it just didn't heal them. I was running my new experimental (for me) Pyro/Chloro build. I did use Flourish, but in the past I was Chloro/Lock, and never ever got flagged by healing.

If you're fighting invasions near the <opposite faction> guards, and you happen to hit one of them, you'll get flagged. You shouldn't be able to heal someone that is flagged, from memory.

Other than that just make sure your option hasn't changed for some odd reason, and make sure the other option (sorry can't think) is ticked disabled.

I know about the evil Defiant guards. *grin* I might have gotten caught up in that once tonight, but not every time unless those guards were far from Zareph's.

I double checked that my flag is not checked. 'The other option'? That puzzles me. Maybe that's what I'm missing.

Should say something like 'incompatable with this target'.

Make sure disabled is ticked. If you have auto flag on, and you heal someone that is flagged, that will flag you. But that should be the only way it can happen.

Check your settings again.

I don't know whether they are working on it, but I did get a confirmation that it looks like a bug to at least one dev.
