From what is on live, this is incorrect. You can trade glass beads for past currencies, not the other way around. In the picture you have posted on your site, the past currencies are listed for purchase with the beads as the required currency to make the exchange.

Unless by what I quoted you meant "if you have some of x currency and need more, fear not because you can buy more to finish that purchase you've been dying to make".
