They're taking my pinatas away! Those are my pinatas!

I'm currently level 15. As soon as a pinata pops-up on my map, I run as fast as I can to it.... only to see level 50s running away from an empty no-pinata area. The pinatas are lasting only a few seconds due to the level 50s running straight at them in a lowbie zone.

Why can't you big boys/girls get your own pinatas at your own neighborhood zone and let us little ones have a chance at a pinata at our zone. /cry I want my pinatas.

okay I'm being silly, but serious they should make some kind of level restriction or make the pinatas respawn rate higher or better yet... give the pinatas a very high hit-point so more players can get there and at least get some hits in.

Because currently it is just about impossible to get near a pinata before it's gone in the 50 zones, If you are not at the spot when it spawns just forget it.

The big kids have beat me to every single one in Silverwood, too—and I'm one of them. It isn't about lowbies, it's that way for everyone.

It's ALWAYS been the case. Some level 50's are just plain LAZY. It's so much easier to grab the goodies from lowbies zones. One would think the devs would have caught on by now and set level zone restrictions on these things but, they would rather get a ton of QQ's on the forums first.

You get no sympathy from me, because you were trying to rob me of one of the few pinatas I could possibly even get to. Level 6s-16s cannot go to anywhere but Silverwood or Freemarch and hope to survive.
Go farm the pinatas in higher level zones unless you're the right level to quest in the 2 beginning zones!

Here are the reasons I don't care that I can't get one, and I don't care that you can't get one, either:

* There are approximately 15 people in Silverwood level range. There are approximately 500 in the level 50 zones' range. The same amount of pinatas spawn in each.

* This event will be going on for a long time, everyone will be sick of pinatas soon enough.

* They're certainly going to be adjusting it, be it via spawn rate, HP, or some other method of making sure that everyone is sick of pinatas soon enough.

But I don't feel bad for trying to get one in Silverwood, it isn't "lazy", it's competitive. I actually prefer Moonshade, but I'll hit Silverwood, too—the population is lower, basic math.

I've learned form the previous world events.... just wait a week or two. It'll simmer down and all will be back to normal. Besides, this world event lasts for seven weeks!

I agree with the orginal poster I have a level 50 mage but last night i was questing in Scarwood on my lvl 33 at the time cleric and while i did reach a few pinatas i brought friends with me IE mobs in the area i proceeded to aoe to kill the mobs as fast a i could and still hit the pinata then a few 50s came over did they aoe to help kill the mobs on me nope just single target on the pinata god forbid they assist (not that i was in any risk of dieing but it is the principal) Don't know why but when I jumped on my 50 prior to leveling my cleric and my guildies were asking what the map symbol looked for them I immediately went to SS and then SM to look (both 50 areas) mayb i just have more respect.......Everyone says they want new ppl to the game to enjoy have fun in reality they don't this is the first World event for some and the higher levels with now respect are messing it up.....but at the OP there have been enough complaints (all constructive) regarding this and there will be a change made.....plus the 50s who are in the I NEED NOW NOW NOW mood will soon claim they are bored again. They did (no rare drops and significantly less currency than green-cons), but when balloons get busted before you can get to them in the three 50 zones (no balloons on EI for whatever reason), it's more efficient to hit the unpopulated low-level zones which have 3 or 4 up at a time.

There are balloons in EI.
They are 1-2mil hp. They appear all the time. I assume people are simply so fast at taking them down that you don't see them.
