Update 1.4 - Known Issues [UPDATED 8/9 @ 1:45PM PDT]

Hey all,

Per usual we seek to keep you up to date on the top issues we're currently investigating, fixing, or have fixed with the latest RIFT update.

Please note, this list may not contain every issue; however, we'll do our best to keep it as thorough as possible. Thanks for your feedback and reports to help us constantly improve RIFT!

UNDER INVESTIGATION

• NEW - A crash that occurs while loading the character select screen (this appears to impact a small group of users, we're looking into the cause. May occur during other load screens as well)

FIXED ISSUES
The below may not be an exhaustive list of all issues fixed in recent Hot Fixes or updates. Please see the provided links for the full list of notes with each patch, thanks!

• UPDATED - Cult Saga Quest: "Wishes of Dominata" may still have a chance to not work properly when waiting for Kaseem.
• UPDATED - Cult Saga Quest: "Moonshade Mop-Up" may still have a chance to not work properly. If this occurs please contact a GM and they will be able to assist you.

RIFT 1.4 Hotfix #3 - 8/9/11

• Guild Roster may not show the last few names of members on the list.
• Quest "Wishes of Dominata" may not work properly
• Quest "Insanity Intelligence": Book of Minor Gods will not spawn. Was moved to fixed, issue appears to persist after Hot Fix, we are investigating.
• Tooltips overwrite or display the incorrect item information on occasion.
• PvP Lures do not always work on all Raid Rift Tears.
• There's a lot more than this - I recommend checking out the full notes!

RIFT 1.4 Hotfix #2 - 8/5/11

• Hotkeys bound to mouse buttons will not activate when hovering your cursor over clickable UI elements.
• Saga of the Endless: Quest "Powers of Life and Air" Sylver Valis has gone AWOL, the search continues!
• Drowned Halls: Hydriss can die in the air causing her to not be lootable after death. (Loot now spawns in chest)
• Chat channel issues with new World Defense channel
• Quest "Moonshade Mop-up"/"Return to Scotty" cannot be completed.

• On certain shards Guilds could not view items contained in their banks, this is a display issue - none of the items in the Vault have been lost.

RIFT 1.4 Hotfix #1 - 8/3

• Guild bank stacking issue - see above, Guild Banks currently disabled until this is resolved.
• Some "Waves of Madness" World Event rewards are currently locked, this will be corrected - [B]hold on to your Rune King Seals if you want em!
• Burning Powerstone does not take effect until item is re-equipped, must be repeated after death as the effect incorrectly wears off. This item is currently disabled as it is not working properly.
• Chelius is sometimes not friendly in expert Realm of the quest "A Token of the Fae."
• New quest "Rescue Mission" - Minara quest objective is not updating.

Moonshade mop-up is bugged on Faeblight we have all put in tickets and have been sitting for 2 hours, scotty is bugged you cant do the last part of quest Please fix.

Wierd, I got the gloves, and the shoulders, rank 5. I also have the rank 3 belt and the 25 tokens.

Just noticed I can't buy the Seakers Chest guard leather rank 4. I got 25 tokens plus the rank 2 gear.

Moonshade mop-up is bugged on Faeblight we have all put in tickets and have been sitting for 2 hours, scotty is bugged you cant do the last part of quest Please fix.

Same with Threesprings. Our group came up and Scotty is just standing motionless, no chat bubbles on any of the NPC's

Updated with some of the issues reported here - if you're reporting a broken quest please provide details about which part/item/npc specifically isn't working, helps with tracking these issues down faster. Thanks!

The World Event Vendor in Meridian is showing several items as locked and unavailable until the completion of various Phases. These items were already unlocked on the Runeguard Event Vendor after each Phase did complete, and the Event is now over, so they should be unlocked, but they're not. We still have tons of Rune King Seals to spend, but 1/2 the items are showing locked and it won't let us buy them. Example of one of the items that is locked is the Sourcemachine. Please fix, thanks.

Are dragon motes spawning correctly? Haven't seen any on Crucia since the whole battlegroup went down.

Edit: Never mind they have spawned but it seems the global message about them spawning isn't working.

I have buttons on my mouse that I have hot-keyed. Now, if my mouse is hovered over my action bars, the button keys on the mouse will not work. They will work if I am hovered anywhere else on the screen. This worked prior to the patch.

This is my #1, personally game breaking, issue. I have alt-mouse5, shift-mouse5, alt-mouse4, shift-mouse4, etc.. bound to mouseover macros for player friendly actions like dispells and heals. These no longer work when used over player frames or raid frames. Not life-altering on my cleric but on my chloro who needs to keep a dps target at all possible times, this is devistating to my playstyle. Halp Elrar, halp!
