Are you a re-rollaholic?

Hi, my name is Krys and I'm a re-rollaholic.

Beta 3 was my first Rift beta and I played a total of 3 toons, only one of which reached level 20 (about half an hour before the beta ended). I got a cleric to 11, then joined my friend's guild where all they had was clerics, so I decided to try out that mage I had my eye on.

I got that to level 14 and liked it, but I decided I needed heals AND I had a friend just starting the beta on day 3, so I rerolled yet again instead of switching souls around. I never did get to do any instances or much pvp but I'm the proud owner of two mages

So now we're facing beta 4 and guess what? I want to revisit the cleric... which of course I deleted first time around so I could reuse the name so I have to start from scratch At this rate, I'll never do anything but the same quests over and over and over....

Anyone else out there in the same boat as me: perpetually rerolling and leveling and never actually playing their toon? Please tell me I'm not the only one.

My friend and I call it Alt-(Insert word that wont get passed language filter on these forums).

But yeah I am (and he is) definitely one of those. I end up leveling a bunch of classes to 10-20 to see what the game is like on each end. Might be different on this game depending on how long it takes to level. I would assume it doesn't take long.

I am until I find the exact class I want to play. I usually try all 4 classes up to about halfway to max level, then I decide on which one I will be keepin as my main.

Yes I am an altaholic too. I like to explore my options but when it comes down to it I really only play my main toon (see signature).

I am not a re-rollaholic but I am an experimenter I currently have 6 toons level 20 3 Defiant 3 Guardian 2 mage 2 rogue 1 wartard and a cleric and am looking forward to getting all of them to 27 this weekend
I must admit I love the Wartard * Riftblade/Reaver/Voidknight* due to the ae damage and agro management

Well thats the good side of Rift for even the worst Alt-aholic you only ever have to make 4 characters if you want to stay on the side you were previously on. If you get bored of one class in a calling just switch to another on the fly.

I'm a alt-er... I have a tendency to play one char for awhile and then roll something else... play that for awhile... roll something else... I always want MORE POWER.

I got 3 20s and 1 16 on defiant with 2 gaurdian 20s.

Will be playing defiant but don't know which archtype I want to start with tomorrow.

Incorrect. A true altoholic will re-roll because of wanting to be/try a different race or coming to not like how their avatar looks! I had max number of characters between betas 1 and 3 on the RP-PvP server, but only one 20 on each side and the rest 12-18. At the end of the last phase, I deleted all but one of each calling with the intention of re-rolling the other two at the start of beta4 (if some of my IRL friends manage to get their hands on keys or pre-order).
