Don't always like what you do, but you do continue to adjust and adapt. Those 2 things far outweigh the former.
Looking good, keep it up. Thank you for starting to re-fix my poor Rogue, as well as looking at crafting a bit.

Rock stars! Just, rock stars!
Great list of changes. All of it looks to be in the right direction. Please keep the patching like it was in beta; frequent small tweaks are better for both customer visibilitiy and reliability than massive sweeping changes.
A lot of the angry posting comes not from what Trion has done, but the fear that Trion will slip into the falterings of previous MMORPG development companies. Trion is, unfortunatelly, being subjected to the jaded doubts that most MMORPG players now have due to the poor performance of just about every MMORPG released since WoW. Added to this is the public position that Adam Gershowitz holds at Trion. Adam, whether he was responsible or not for the blunders, oversaw the complete debacle of Warhammer where patches were infrequent, sweeping, and often created more bugs than they fixed.
For better or worse, these are the cards stacked against Trion. In order to be successful, please continue to maintain customer visibility with frequent updates (be they patches or developer announcements) in order to reassure customers that you won't simply be another flash-in-the-pan company. Trion has started very well, and they can continue their success by proving to customers that they intend to continue to respond frequently to customer frustrations. Finally, please do not break something, then ponder about how to fix it. If a patch creates a major flaw, roll it back and re-release it when ready, don't leave it sit while figuring out what went wrong.
Thank you and I hope you continue your successes.
** TLR version: Please continue with frequent, SMALL patches, and do not try to rely on large, sweeping changes as these frustrate players (customers) and often introduce more problems than they solve. Don't be afraid to release a set of fixes in small bits, rather than all at once.

Hey Trion,
cheers for keeping the updates coming. However, as someone who isn't really that much into dungeon & raid endgame progression, I'd be very much interested in another topic which you said "might" be coming to your game. So, any news on when (and, well, if) housing will be coming?
And in before "go play Sims 3": RIFT is a fantasy world, so it should offer more immersion, more reason to live in, more fluff. A world where you can't live soon turns stale. And while achievements and artifact collections are nice, I also want to see things develop. Currently, I can only see it on my character, what gear he has, what companions he gets, what mounts he can ride around on ... but housing? That would offer an enormous amount of possibilities for "progression" (i.e., seeing things develop). And it's a kind of progression that has only been done right once before (in EQ2), which makes it a great alternative to been-there-done-that-dungeon-and-raid gameplay.
So, keep the updates coming ;-)
So any takers on which class becomes FOTM OP'd this round because Trion doesnt even know how to control the soul mix monster?
Very happy with all of this. Thank you![]()

Thank you for the overviews and it was good to see what you are proposing to do about some of the current issues in Rift. Going to wait till more specifics are released before I decide if I need to change how I play my chosen class though (mage).
"Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too."
“Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim.
Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself.”
For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism.
Oh my, I'm really pleased with this patch, this game just got a million times better. Especially seeing as how I played a marksman rogue since launch.
I saw you said there were more fixes but in your further explanation nothing was mentioned of fixing incorrect faction or rep req for some recipes. Thanks.
Is there a fix to the valor rune recipes? Still says "not enough faction" when trying to buy.
Also no mention of a fix for the windstealing rune recipe on guardian side. It says it requires zephyrian collective which is the defiant rep. Needs to be changed to storm inquisition.
These are all great changes, but none of this was game breaking anyway. What is gamebreaking is the griefing of expert and raid rifts BY YOUR OWN FACTION (in caps so all the "Roll PVE server" idiots can understand it).
If that isn't fixed soon, it will ruin the endgame for people.
HOLY CRAP!
I just read the pvp notes and I have to say, HELL YES! AWESOME JOB TRION!!!!
I cant wait for it...You guys just keep making this game better, and Im appreciative of that fact. So many awesome things in the pipeline...
Way to go Trion, well done....tyvm from a hardcore RIFT gamer!!!!
Will this patch with the rogue changes come before 4 may?
it means whatever just happened is worse than an "error #2000" but not as bad as an "error #2002"?
Huh?
