Until 2 weeks ago I had never heard of Rift before. (and yes it is very comfortable here under my rock )
then I saw Jogg Cast on youtube doing a first impression gameplay video, and it looked so good that I decided to buy it right there and then!

sadly due to unforseen irl events I was only able to play the beta 5 for a few hours on thuesday night.
but the time I got was very very fun.
hope I have more time to play next beta phase.

I was on Gamebreaker.com and saw their new podcast about RIFT, decided to check it out and now I have caught the RIFT disease.

I heard about RIFT from Cad-comics ...just a comic that i find to be pretty funny :P I then tried to get into beta 5 ( which I luckily did woo ) and on the second day I pre-ordered

I actually found out about the game from Amazon.com. I was in the process of pre-ordering Dragon Age 2 when I saw Rift in the suggestion area. Since I hadn't heard of the game and I'm naturally curious I checked it out at the site. My interest grew and I googled the website. The unique character system really sold the game to me and the idea of these rifts and invasions put icing on the cake.

Of course a friend told me about the game, and I had already seen bits and pieces of advertising .... What really brought me to the game was the friends who got BETA invites ... now I don't like that my friend was able to start at level 10 and get to 30 and now he's some Alpha, when I made it to 22 in 2 days...... He sure does love this game though

But really, here's how you all snagged me .... WOM, then seeing it backed up on Social and other networking sites, so I knew with the advertising, something had to be good about RIFT .... You all invited me, and of course if I get to play more games, like even playing more now, I am gonna BUY BUY BUY ....

Here's how much you won me over .... I NEVER PAY FOR MMORPGS .... EVER ... I have Every Final Fantasy Game made, and 11 and 14 got their one month of play and then they became collectors items .... this game gives me more .... I definitely will PtoP this game

I am an avid "WoW" player since the start. A guild mate was talking about Rift beta and it sounded fun and so i looked into it. I now have fallen for this game. As soon as the game launches (Feb 24th for those of us that pre ordered) I will be converting to this game (as long as it stays interesting!).

My friend mentioned it to me. I was a bit skeptical, since all previous MMOs since WoW were below average, but Beta 5 blown me away completely. So now I am suffering riftdrawals like everyone else.
