I was doing some research pertaining to another game, and I found the ad for Rift. I checked it out, and so myself and a few friends of mine are going to try it out. Already, 5 of us have a preorder and I'm trying to convince a few others, too.

Was checking out youtube and came across some rift videos, went out to get some more information and thought I'd stop by and try it out.
Saw you guys at PAX in Seattle, I got in line just to play to get a free t-shirt. I didn't give it much though but when I got home I had the pax beta key Code in my bag so I made an account, I wasn't too interested in the game but after doing a bit more research I became more interested. Here I am now counting down the days for the release
I was searching for a new MMO, and saw an article on one of the gaming news sites for RIFT; I signed up for beta and got an invite months later, and have been counting down the days ever since!

A Guildmate of mine on WoW told me about how amazing Rift is, now all we do is talk about Rift!
Also a guildmate from WoW, since then i only want to play the beta of Rift, instead of wow.
Heard about Rift from a Ctrl+Alt+Delete discussion below the main comic. I've been looking for a good mmo to play so I followed up, 2 days later beta invite

I heard about this game on the mmo report at g4tv.com and reading massively.com news.
