How do you spend your time in Rift?

Since I became an Apothecary I spend all my time looking for Drakefoot Stems since that is what every Work Order demands. Please put in a bit of variety or improve the drop rate. I'm about to give it up.

I mainly do quests, but a lot of times I find myself stuck in the middle of a rift or an invasion and I feel like a jerk for not doing anything about it so I'll join a public group and help kill the spawns. It's a weird thing with me. If a rift opens up, and I'm there, I usually always help close it unless I'm about to log out.

Otherwise, I spend time mining and killing for gold/xp.

Looking over the poll results, its much as I expected.

Most people enjoy rifting, questing, exploring and crafting.
A much smaller percentage like raiding.

Im glad youre adding more raids.

Now give some lovin to the majority of your players who don't raid.

Take rifts to another level. Add complexity, more reward vendors, doorways that let us step through into other realities, anything to take rifts to the next notch. The game is called "rift" after all.

Add more sandbox elements, much more appearance clothing and weapons (the item pool seems a little thin), and start to add more elements unique to Rift and not just being like WoW. Rift now has its own audience, we can depart from WoW more and more.

I prefer doing dungeons but it does consume allot of time waiting for groups to form.

i find the Warfront fun and challenging. Some quests are tedious, but it happens. I recently did the first dungeon quest, Realm of the Fae. Had great help. Im new, so i didnt get far when i tried it alone lol. But i had a great team and i look forward to meeting new people in this well made game. No more WoW!!

This kind of data should be easily gleaned directly from the database. In fact, I would be surprised if they didn't already have analytics on this very topic to know where to focus development.

I'd LOVE to see a comparison chart between what folks vote and what they actually do.
