Are the female chars supposed to be flat chested?

Ok this is going to sound odd, but I am wondering what the design decision was on making female chars near completly flat chested. Friend sent me a screencap (which i won't link here) and I noticed the char was female, or at least was supposed to look female, could have been a skinny guy due to the lack of a chest on it. I am just curious any plans to fix this? Just seems a wee bit off when most female chars in almost all mmorpgs have a decent sized chest to them :P.

I've noticed that the waists of some characters are also a bit more realistically proportioned than normal as well. It's not that they are chubby by any means... they just aren't 3% body fat, fitness model slim.

Well FF11 wasn't too bad, female humes and mithra's had I guess a average size chest to them, Just wondering why the chars in rift seem totally or near flat. Kinda looks off compared to the norm in videogames. TBH I find the female models to be fairly.. unattractive, from the face to the body shape and as I mentioned they are flat-chested, least for high elfs since thats what I have seen.

Let's add some with a single breast too to represent the ones who have breast cancer and some with inverted breasts and some with silicones and some with three nipples and let's add some of those fat guys with breasts too.

LOL yeah fat chick swinging 2H wep looks alot better then girl that looks like she's been working out...customization in game is decent as far as option goes, but not having option to choose body proportion is big mistake. I'm playing female character only because male characters are friking ugly and still human female looks weird, hard to make her pretty and as far as body go...should take it easy on cake lol. Elf male/female look somewhat decent i guess. I do agree female elf has flat chest, still better candy to the eye then human chubby women...
I don't have anything against someone that wanna play fat, slim, blue or orange character i just wish there was an option to choose. Also mouth...just looks weird, would be nice to have option to adjust mouth/lips too.

Game graphic looks really good, alot better then graphic in your avarage mmo game, would be a shame to have avarage customization. Can't really enjoy a game when i'm not enjoying my character

P.S. I'm from Croatia and majority of females i've seen have huge racks! Nothing weird seeing it in game too...

Graphics alone don't make a good game look at ff14 for example, possibly the best looking mmo graphically but other than graphics its pretty ****-tastic in almost every other aspect.

Its unrealistic to think flat chested is the norm however. Average breast size around the world is about a b-cup... but thats somewhat beside the point.

The game does look a bit silly when all the female characters could be mistaken for bishies. lol Rifts would be a heck of a lot better in its already excellent character creator if we had a body slider... I dont necessarily want huge boobs myself... so giving us enough of an option to have more of a chest or not would be a plus.

They're very clearly female to my eyes... then again, I don't normally have problems distinguishing men from women.

Having size options would be great espcially if you can make them look like DENISE MILANI . Google her if you dont know who she is. Basicly she is OMG with 2 huge tracks of land and a nice smile.

This. The current look is not very feminine. In fact, what I have seen all look flat and saggy.

Extremely athletic women (say for example, ones who never walk in their lives and run absolutely everywhere they go, while swinging swords, maces, and toting around 50-100 lbs of assorted equipment...

...do not have breasts to speak of. Breast tissue is something like 80% fat. When you are constantly and strenuously excercising, fat goes away.
