What about those of us who were smart enough to keep our info safe but can't play because of clearing hotbars you introduced with the patch that you won't acknowledge?

Client Update: 3/13/11 1:00pm PST
* A small client patch is available to correct problems with ability icons disappearing from hotbars. No server downtime is required; you can pick up the patch by updating the game after 1:00pm PST.
Abigale
Can you please inquire into why there is so much descrepency in how long it takes to get restored? We have people that have been waiting for days and then you have people claiming that they were fixed in a matter of a couple hours or less. As for myself I submitted a ticket 36 hours ago and would like to think there was some kind of first come, first serve basis rather than complete randomness.

Thanks for the update Abigale! Glad to hear that Trion is implementing this.
I am sure those of us who had our accounts compromised will be back up and running soon.
I'm really glad to see such a feature to stop these kinds of attacks. Although I can say that most of the people who get hacked were hacked because of something they did. This isn't true for everything, but its a huge problems, either way glad to see this in place.
Sunrest: Seracy - Assasin
Crimson Veil: Guild Leader
This is the best defense I've ever seen.
Absolutely great idea!
Perhaps they could include while on a "coin locked" account, character deletion is also prohibited. This would save the customer support / GMs some time they could spent otherwise to restore characters from a backup file, because the hackers deleted the character in utter frustration because they couldn't do anything for their "business".
Also, I'd like to know what a "significantly different location" means. Does this mean everything else but another country? Or anything else out of the IP range from your current ISP?
I second the suggestions to have the IP Adress listed in the mail sent to your inbox when unlocking your account.
Good Job Trion! I commend you for this. A-holes who hack should die in a fire (for real). I'm glad to see Trion is right on top of things whereas it took Blizzard way to long to come up with solutions to account hacking.
