Contenta Converter, that's the program I used. 30 day trial.
Would be nice if datadump updates ONLY included items that have changed since previous datadump.
There are 11,686 Items that have been discovered on all 99 servers, only thing that can change is if stats are modified. Why keep throwing them all back into the XML file? It would shave off 1/3rd the file size easily.
I hate to see the XML size when this game has been out 3+ years and 5 expansions later...
Also, can I get fansite board access ?![]()

No offence meant by this...
True, we can write our own code, but why would someone spend hours writing code to fix a non-compliant file as Community Dev (which means in their spare time between family, real life and full time job and actually playing the game). In a professional company you would go the simplest route first which is the source of the data and ensure there output mechanism is making compliant files (if they are stating they are complaint to anything naturally).
Yes if its already made and available, but is your method for producing the Soul files not the same for producing the Discoveries file? I ask as the Soul files come in EN, FR and DE separate files and could not the same output method not be used for the Discoveries file?
Brian - Whilst have your eyesAny thoughts/comment on extending the Guild.xml file in my post on here?
Thanks for the support on this Trion, good job!
PS: For now I will use a clean file harness to clean the file each time before load.

#205 The Soul files are produced by a modified game client (because the tooltip code is difficult to extract from the client.) The rest is produced by a separate program that pulls down discovery information from the master game database and then uses that to filter what game data to output.
The long-term solution is player profiles.
Brian - Thanks for the response great to see a dev popping back now and then and reponding. great support.
This is great to here and I wont ask for an ETA
New question relating the the Raid.XML files as we did Greenscale last night. The file only seem to give a list of who is in the raid at the time file is produced which is ok for starters. However, no item drop information or who looted it is not stored in the file. This makes for EPGP/DKP systems very manual to to update.
I like to request the below information added in the RAID.XML file to assisted with auto-populating our community EPGP/DKP systems post/during raids:
<PlayerRaidPlayedTime>minutes</PlayerRaidPlayedTime>
<Boss>
--<BossName>xxxx</BossName>
----<LootDrops>
------<LootDrop>
--------<ItemKey>xxxxxxxxxxxxx</ItemKey>
--------<LootedBy>MemberId</Lootedby>
------</LootDrop>
----</LootDrops>
</Boss>
Also the Items data file contains no stats information for Runes. This makes it very difficult for the community to build a useful recipe database for runes. Will the Rune Stats information be added?
Sorry for new posted couldnt edit my just posted, complaining about 5min sincestrangley hadn't been 5min btw

Have you ever wanted to?
Trion Love me lots, give me more slots
Will the souls zip file be retaining a similar name when updated? I'm making an android app that downloads the zip file as to stay up-to-date without needing to push out a new version every time the soul trees change. I understand the date portion will of course change, but would it be reasonable to keep the "RIFT_Souls_TEST" portion of the zip file's name the same so I can locate new files?
It would be really nice for artifacts to be tagged with whether they've been looted from mobs, or artifact objects, or both.
