    Daglar replied, I'm content with that part. What I'd like to know now is if a change is planned to be implemented during this lockout or Weds so we don't clear RM Kain only to have a HM Kain change go in before next lockout.

    You talk as if I do this regularly? Please go onto my forum profile and find a post where I have previously "randomly bashed" exploit.

    Havlon has some changes lined up, but I told him no for now. There are no /current/ plans to push out changes to it this lockout or the next.

    Well thanks for heads up. Won't have to check daily for a ninja patch now. Hopefully you'll continue to keep us informed, would be really upsetting to kill it normal than receive a ninja mid-week patch.

    I'm not laughing at all, the encounter is /probably/ too hard right now. It's actually against my better judgement to leave it in as it is. However, folks clamored for difficulty - so folks get some difficulty.

    Fair enough. I just wasn't quite sure if it was simply more than a DPS race or not. As we had pretty much tried every conceivable mechanic I was pretty convinced of this, thanks for the quick response though.

    The thing is, reducing the damage the boss takes like this does not add difficulty to the encounter. It is simply a burn the boss fight, No crazy mechanics or mess up penatly is really involved in this fight. Its just practically impossible as it is atm.

    If difficulty wanted to of been upped, Gelidra freezes, or Progenitor run in mechanic should of been one shots!

    This is what we wanted. Difficulty given through unforgiving and/or complex mechanics. Not difficulty given through a test of persistence against extremely improbable odds.

    Yeah I'm not sure how they thought randomizing the add spawns was a good thing, when the stack RNG 100% determines whether or not you kill the boss.
