We knew, of course, that changes of this magnitude had inherent balance and tuning risks... but we were also unwilling to let the entire "melee job" of p1 continue to have little to no relevance to the encounter. So, we will be making some adjustments to the adjustments in an upcoming hotfix! Yay!

5 minute phase 1 still leaves you with 10 minutes for the other 3, so it will be killed, just very close and more min maxing will have to happen such as some raids allowing warriors to leave maelforge and demon in p2 and p4. Also, some ranged will need to move from Maelforge to help with add, if not all, to get it down quickly(he has over half a million HP). P3 will also need to be a lot faster and therefore more hectic. But, hey, this is the sort of fight they wanted in the beginning. It just sucks that this fight is going through live testing, basically, after world first and second were already achieved.
Melee => Kill adds => go to boss do dps => Go back to adds => Repeat
Melee => Kill adds => go to boss, o wait, new adds => Repeat.
Most productive way with current patch:
Melee => Kill adds all the time, o wait, sabs/SC does it better, does not need dispeller to babysit, does better in p2/3/4. ok thx.
Conclusion: Ranged > Melee in all phases, we managed to meet enrage in p3-p4 transition due to extended periode needed for P1 and P2 and P4. thankx, we can still kill this thing given some more practise, but there wont be melee dps present.

Either the adds need to have their hp completely sliced in half, or their spawn rate needs to be cut in half. Only then will warriors not be on add duty 100% of the time and have SOME uptime on Maelforge.

what p1 really needs is a massive dps buff for warriors or a massive damage taken reduced/immune to dots or simply give warriors a buff that makes them do more (a lot more) damage to the adds. because atm there is no reason to take them.
This is why I'm glad they scrapped something like the original plans for Arakhurn in RotP where you had to use grappling hooks to stay on a platform suspended above lava. Good idea on paper does not always translate into a easily codeable encounter people actually have to do.
