Its pretty good to hear Rift raid back in pre-nerf HK.. I had so muchfun reading the discussions on the bosses especially the skulls of matron lol, I was in a guild with lol dps hence we had to go there back then : P .

Its bad to see good raiders leave the game, hope more guys step up.... tho cant wait to see this awesome pvp gossip atm

I have to say on the Ituziel video, the song made me laugh. The mood on the fight is supposed to be a balls to the wall dps race, but the song is so relaxed. I also really liked the songs you used for Grugonim as well.

Although, I don't really listen to dubstep too often, more of a trance person.

I just rewatched voodoos video and I am not sure why you are all defending their claims of it being impossible. The best part where they instantly say it is impossible and that that was a kill with 8 dead prior to enrage. GOOD TIMES!

I don't know that Voodoo as a whole believes it was as good as a kill, that was Puddin making the comment in mumble, something he also said in the chat of their stream. Seems more like one man's opinion, one which people generally seem to disagree with since it's a ridiculous claim.

I said it in the other thread, so long and thanks for all your community involvement... to both Voodoo and Maximation.

I am usually a pessimist and want to say this spells doom&gloom for the future or rift.
But i think Intrinsic gave a great positive thought, the "parents" may be leaving so it is an opportunity for the "kids" to step up. I hope this happens and that other Hardcore guilds take up the reigns of heavy community involvement. this is what i liked most about both of those guilds, they didnt just lead on raid kills, they helped the community so much with builds, strats, tips and discussions.

Cheers! Here's hoping for positive growth to take hold in the near future in place of the void left by Maximation & Voodoo.

Thanks Voodoo and Maximation for all the effort you put forth in helping the players. Qan's list is still the best source for rogues, Veev and other strat writers, very few people realize the amount of work it takes to actually write out a detailed strat. For that, I am appreciative.

As far as doom and gloom? Nah.

Before Voodoo and Maximation there was Stay Small Nerds, Halcyon Affinity, and another guild that escapes me. There will be other guilds that come in and pick up the baton and carry it forward. What I do hope, is that they will be as professional as Max and Voodoo.

Silly sounding is a line like that in an exit strategy. Do you really think that is gonna end well?
You didn't have the DPS to meet the 50% enrage timer, or you didn't meet the HPS to give up a tank or heal slot to a DPS.

The Akylios timer wasnt "too tight" though. we hit the 15minute enrage timer at the start of phase 4 when jornaru came down. It was the same situation as laethys where the boss had 50% hp left.

I think either there was a coding mistake and laethys isnt supposed to heal back to 100% or there is some actual burn phase similar to Alsbeth past 50%.


But like others said, before ID came out we made a poll asking who was leaving on the 15th, and who was leaving when we killed maelforge. Personally I've been wanting to quit raiding for a few months now but thought i would hold out and see ID first.

After 8 years, I'm done with scheduled gaming. I'll play D3 at my own pace, and try out GW2 since it cant tempt me into raiding.

Thanks for watching everyone. We got a 65% enrage on an almost 100% flawless kill. Without nerfs I don't think it'd be possible to beat that by more than 5 or 10% at the most. It's really not killable atm unless we're missing some 500k reflect mechanic, but I'm very pleased with our progress, and basically consider it a kill.

If the furthest it is possible to jump is 10 feet because there is a brick wall, but you need to jump 15 feet to win. We jumped 9.5, saw the wall about five times, and called it a day.

We tried to break the wall while jumping and some tried to jump higher than the wall.

Theres some mechanics that you guys seem to be missing, don't think you could have figured out every single mechanic and how it works and tried various ways to break the mechanics or use it against the boss

Terrible analogy as it in no way correlates to what you did or the boss at all. You overhealed as was stated by numerous other guilds. Your phase 1 was significantly longer than it could be. So you have no clue if you got it down to to somewhere around 25-50 that another phase/mechanic doesn't kick in. You continue to sit on your high horse and claim perfection without trying.
