Swift Armored Murdantix Bridle - Disappointed.

My guild just got this achievement on Monday and after I got the mount, I must say that I was very disappointed. This achievement is very difficult to obtain as well as very time consuming and requires a lot of effort from many other people to complete successfully. I feel the artists should put a little more time into their future conquerer rewards from Infernal Dawn and beyond and make their rewards more "unique" and stand out more, rather than just a quick copy and paste job and a color switch. The "Armored" is not even close to what I would consider armored to be, since 90% of its visible body is still not covered. Personally I think the Swift Armored Murdantix Bridle in its current form is a slap in the face.

Is this lack of effort on the mount purely because Trion knows that there is only going to be a small handful of people obtaining it?

Yea everytime I have seen that mount in pictures I really think how much of a slap in the face it is to the raiders who put all the time into getting the achievements. I would rather use my Ember Steed or even RoS conq horse over that mount.

Have to agree it's not as armored as I'd like it. But still, he's pretty cool looking since he's darker and more purple. Also the helmet makes him look like a narwhale.

I think you're confusing the Swift Armored Murdantix with the Ancient Murdantix mount that drops from the HK chronicle and dropped during the water event. The Swift Armored has always been 110, has never been changed in speed, and is only available from the conqueror of HK raid achievement.

I expect something that says "Armored" to have armor. A different color is not armored. A hockey mask is not armored.

At first before I realised my folly, I thought the Swift Rock Najmok Reins was the mount for HK Achieve.

Instead, it is a Murdantix with a helm. The Najmok is armored; the Armored Murdantix is not. Think Trion should have switched the armors on those two.

Maybe he wants to advertise his superiority to the rest of the server, maybe he wants something to spank to, maybe he just wants to feel awesome when he does his daily shopping.

Regardless, the majority of people are incredibly underwhelmed by the skin on the mount.

Given the quality of the Carnival of the Ascended mounts the Armored Murdantix one shows a clear lack of effort on either the part of the designed or their supervisor.
