i think the 'join public group' button should be changed to 'join instant adventure' and displayed along side the 'join public group' if there is, say, an invasion group and an IA group in the area.

also, rewards shouldn't be given at all if a member is not in the quest zone.. and greatly reduced/not given at all if he's not explicitly contributing to the IA. cant tell you how many times i've ended up in an IA group because i joined a public group near an invasion.. which is good bc i'll usually stick around and do some IAs, but sometimes ill join the group in stillmoor and the group will be in shimmer. the other day i heard "where's stillmoor and why is everyone there?" - definitely shouldn't have been in that group for a stillmoor invasion

    Pretty much this
Or else no one will really care if there is afker in the group or not.
If you +3 active are in a afk raid of 20 , good luck attacking AI boss, They have more than 500k hp and hit like a truck. HAHA

2)I play the weakest class , the reason I top the chart is because I am skilled.

There's a notorious crew on our server that leech with 3 tunes at once ... maybe multi-boxing I don't know. But every time you vote-kick one, they vote it down with their other toons. Kinda sucks.

I'm for auto-kick if you're outside the quest area when 2 consecutive adventures end - that's pretty conservative if you ask me but still better than nothing.

I wound up getting kicked from an IA group earlier this evening pausing to save a lone wardstone from a swathe of invasions during a zone event. Unsurprisingly I saw most of them on the boss once it popped.

I think some are a bit too quick to assume leeching. These aren't time intensively and, for the most part, aren't difficult events to do. Oh no, someone maybe got an IS or EXP shard they didn't deserve. Server ruined. It's been pretty rare that the IAs I do wind up being full raids, too. Usually it's 2 parties tops, so it's not like there's this epidemic of people being kept from participating. Even then, I would imagine it'd shift from one zone to starting in the other if another group hadn't begun already.

Sometimes I just need to AFK to tend to something RL, and sometimes I can't explain why. Sure, rejoining is just another IA queue away, but given how I often wind up tanking while aggressively tackling objectives when I am there (zone knowledge helps compared to first-timers), often doing 30+ IAs in a sitting, some people just need to lighten up. Besides, some bosses just suck regardless of party count. Being a warrior, I lack a healing soul. Seeing a raid meter full of DPS classes on such sucks when I wind up taking dirt naps because none of them are willing to switch specs for a fight even I warn them the mob needs it.

Leechers help out far more than they hinder groups. The XP you get from the defend wardstone invasions more than makes up for the slightly slower invasions between them. Besides, the extra time spent in an area farming mobs really doesn't hurt much.

If it bothers you that much just report them, it's a pretty fair claim that their slowing down of your IAs can be classed as same faction griefing.
