    Yes I agree with everyone else this is a major problem. They need to add multiple CD timers. Everyone post/sign this thread, maybe a dev will notice at some point and hopefully consider changing the CD for consumables.

    Potions were never supposed to on 100% shared cooldowns. Thanks to player reports we were able to find the bug with this issue, and hopefully we'll have it fixed in an upcoming patch.

    Ultimately all consumables fall into one of 4 catagories
    1. Benificial - Healing pots, Mana pots, Shields etc. 3 minute cooldowns
    2. Offensive - Damage pots, short term offensive boosts, damage sheilds, lifetaps etc, 3 min cooldown
    3. Long Term Buffs - Vials, Serums, Scrolls, etc long duration buffs. 10s cooldowns
    4. Special - Special one off items that have their own cooldowns and cooldown groups

    time for proper firework spam

    on a relevant ntoe, the major fireworks (level 30 recipe from stonefield) do not have sound and the flash of it (especially when multiple people fire it) is a bit excessive.

    Hmm I came to post this exact topic when I saw this one- it seems they just lumped every single consumable under one roof - PLEASE look into this asap- it means apothecary is practically useless right now due to this.

    3 min cool-down on everything is stupid- why do serums share the same cool down as pots- means if your rifting and die- when you re spawn you wont use any other serum as you know you wont be able to use health potions- same goes for dungeons the CD is just to long.

    Please separate them- or you will find that people will start to drop this profession as it will be useless- I am on the verge of doing it now- will go for a trade that's far more practical.

    I am in a fairly large guild right now and I am the ONLY one who has this trade skill in the entire guild- shows how useless it is.
    A few have it but only on alts they say- so out of a guild that has 80+ members I am the only one who has this craft on a main.

    Please look into this quickly

    Thank you Gersh! It's amazing to see great news like this on a Saturday even. I had hoped that it was a bug and would eventually get fixed. Glad that I've stuck with this profession.

    Question for you then, why must the consumables have ******ely long cool downs in the first place? In most games the cool down is like 30 seconds on mana and healing pots. Thats one thing that just irks my nerves. Pots already dont give much because they do not scale well with level at all. By the time you are able to hit the next pot your either dead or have to run away because that pot still isnt up yet. I currently have tons of pots in my inventory but if they are all on a 3 minute cool down its going to take me weeks to use them up by the time i move on I will need the next 2 tiers of pots. Also if possible get rid of the put a pot on cooldown just because you logged in bug.

    What about things like the healing philters which cross the line between an offensive item and a healing potion?
    It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.

    .....healing philters are healing potions. How are you seeing any complication there?
