    Default Madrosa lumber?>???

    So why is it I can make madrosa lumber at 350 foraging, but I need 375 foraging to actually harvest madrosa timber. Elm timber to lumber is 330 skill and its the same skill I need to harvest for elm, so why is madrosa different. Is this a bug or for real.....

    There is the same deal with the top tier ore, but for the ore you can at least get it from mining.corpses at 360 skill, haven't found a comparable option for foraging.though.

    Foraging to 375 was the worst because the only way I found to do it was to farm these Plant monsters in Kingsward for hours. It would take 15-20 kills for one forage skill up.

    Yeah, thats what I have been doing since about 355 skill.

    I just foraged every node possible while leveling and was 375 before hitting 52-53

    But that was launch day and near instant respawns on nodes

    you also realize that they also gave every node a guaranteed skill up for launch also.

    No idea why it is set to 375, I too found this odd. However, I didn't have a problem to skill up foraging, since elm timber and frazzleweed stay "yellow" right up until 375, so you get skill ups at a reasonable rate (plus you can harvest a good amount of stuff to sell or skill up apothecary or artificer

    Not sure what you consider reasonable, but was about 1 in 20 for me post 355 or so.

    I am quite sure it wasn't 375 before the last hotfix (closer to 350 or below i think). In my opinion something turned wrong when they adjusted the values

    That seems about correct. And I hit 375 WAY before hitting lvl 60, so...is this too slow? Or too fast? Or just about right? I found it was just right.

    It is just right.

    Farming vs Hunting / killing is different .........Trion please do not change this.

    Don't need farmers just zoning in areas just to farm nodes.


    And I can say this, cause I craft and hunt. ;)

    It wouldn't be such a big issue if there were foragable level 60 mobs to ease the 360+ grind.
