    Default Theorizing on expansion

Was thinking, with the coming expansion increasing tradeskill caps (I believe they said "grandmaster" somewhere), what is that likely to mean?

I'm guessing raise cap to 375 (since 75 points per block has been the pattern). A set of green recipes for 51-55, another set for 56-60, and a set of blues for the 60+. As such I'd expect 3 new base materials (akin to titanium, carmitium, and orichalcum for the 40-50 range).

I'm guessing existing TS rift lures will be capped at level 52 (so no stockpiling) with a new weekly added once you hit 375.

I'm also thinking the daily tradeskill tasks won't give artisan marks, but instead give 1-5 Master marks, and the non-cash recipes (like belts for outfit/armor) will cost an appropriate amount of master marks. This way newer skillers will be able to backfil the level 50 recipes more easily. The new weekly at 475 will result in a Grandmaster Mark (along with the lure), and the end game recipes will use those.

Toss in a conversion for, say, 75 master marks to 1 GM mark, and a downgrade version for 1 master mark to 250 artisan (so folks at 300+ could still get the 1-300 recipes they missed)

    Anybody else have guesses?

Yeah, I agree that there will most likely be new currency for crafting.

However, I doubt they will have conversion from current currency, or they will not introduce it immediately with the expansion. I don't think they would want vets with stockpiled marks to immediately have the top crafting recipes.

Well, at 75 master mark -> 1 GM mark, to buy a single 5 GM recipe you'd need 100 master marks (cap) and 137,500 artisan marks. Doubt anybody has that

I hope there will also be a way to get the craftings materials now only aviable trough raids, although make them VERY expensive.

I don't do much raiding, but I love to craft. Bad combo for those last recipies added. But I have a lot of plat to spend, and would gladly do so to get my hands on some frozen souls and so on.
The necromancer spells and pets must get stronger!
