41 views and no comments? Is it that bad?
looks nice, how long it take you?
It took me a few weeks, but I take breaks from some pieces and work on other things too. Thanks for the comment!
You know the only thing that could really make this better? More cowbell.
Or maybe some vigil, you heathen!
The proportions and the pose are very well done. The tree trunks on the other hand could use a little more help ;) If you look at a tree, they don't have a flat bottom as if they were put on the ground. They branch out a little bit at the bottom where the trunk spreads into the roots. Meaning: don't make them that flat, and add a bit of shading to accentuate the unevenness.
Hope that was constructive criticism. On another note, wished I'd get proportions on human(oid)s as well as you do ;p
It's lovely! Thank you for sharing.
I wish I could draw or paint!![]()

I have no talent with drawing, so I am always amazed at those who do and your drawing is lovely!!
I am a musician, though, and the flute is backward. A Flute is held to your right, left hand facing you, right hand facing out. Hope that helps
Edit: To be fair, Kelari may play their flutes that way, so who am I to say?![]()

If you say "plz" instead of "please" because it's easier to type, then I will say "no" instead of "yes" for the same reason.
Oh wow thank you all so much! I have been thinking about revisiting this piece so the critique is very helpful! I will work more on the trees and I want to add more texture to the grass as well.
Haha Thanks Cienn, that is good to know! I have to have reference in order to draw and the stock I used to draw the pose from was holding just a stick to imitate the flute. I love getting advice though, It is always better to know how things will actually be held. Maybe I can find a way to fix it.
