PAs were clearly stated as being something that would NOT be required to complete content by the devs. In that light, it's easy to see why full PAs don't give a major boost, as it was never meant to be. The calcs have been made by Ferboten, and I took some time to read over the workings and it all checks out for me.

Also, no, there is no straight number value to give for PAs. It all depends on your build, your gear, and player ability. Milestones as you put it will vary for each player.

Yes, the weights auto-update once past crit crap, for AP stacking.

    Pauldrons of Trapped Souls

do have a hidden +13 dex. Doesn't tell you in the tooltip, but does tell you in the stats comparison tooltip ;) Makes them just a little better than the rune-etched stuff.

Scratch that. No dex on them, that came from the rune ;)

Default Hexed Pieces, where's the beef

A couple of interesting takeaways from using this calculator:

When I equipped all Rune Etched pieces vs. the Rune Sharpened pieces, I gained about 30dps using the hexed drop items according to your calculator. Does this seem right to you? I generally dont waste my DKP on these items as looking at the stats it seemed the upgrade was very slight at best. THis calculator confirms it.

Also, it seems the Greatsword of Ancient Betrayal is the worst of the T2 2handers due to the excess amount of crit. Would you agree?

I was able to get about 150DPS from 0 planar attunement to 30,000 planar attunement. That is about 5% increase. It is much slower gains after that since you fill out the weapon dps. Anyways that is a benchmark you should have all your warrior raiders shoot for as that is certainly significant.

I have to say this is very well done spreadsheet and thanks again!

OK, I spent a little more time on this because I just couldnt believe how UNIMPORTANT the GMoA gear is. Here is the breakdown, according to your calculator, all other items are equal:

Full Relic - 3627 (using 4piece champ crystal for T2 Raid)
Full Rasmolov 3592 (using 4piece champ crystal for T2 Raid)
Full Dhel's 3515 (using 4piece champ crystal for T1 Raid)

Calculator attributed about 50dps to the champ T2 4 piece crystal (this is ST only)

Something just doesnt seem right. Maybe its my math. To double check this I added up the relic, rasmolov and dhel's stats.

    Relic compared to Rasmolov
    +33 strength, +2 Dex, -2 End, +2 AP, + 16 Crit
    (27 AP difference)

    Rasmolov compard to Dhel
    +38 Strength, +8 Dex, +1 End, +10 AP, + 38 Crit
    (40 AP difference)

This may not be suprising to a lot of people but its suprising to me and I think it will surprise a lot of non-warriors. I mean you hear comments like, well that guy in non-relics is outdpsing the full relic guy. Considering relics only increase DPS potential by 30 that really isnt much of an achievement. Its also something to consider when allocating gear and evaluating guild applicants.

suprised aswell, i really thought there would be a bigger difference in relic vs nonrelic i guess they lowered it with the 1.7 itemization changes?

The 1.7 itemization changes reduced the gap by ALOT.

Most people probly hadn't realized that this was the case. Myself, as a main spec tank, routinely pull more DPS than main spec DPS warrs, despite them being in HK gear and myself in hand-me downs. This hearkens back to our dependencies on weapon dps. There was a thread floating around some weeks back, with parses of a fully geared vs naked warrior doing about 300 difference in top end damage.

Nice comparison for the most part. I'd only add in that buffs and skill point assignment can make your tier gear slightly off (nothing major, since 5% of 40 is still 2) but yeah, I reckon I can look over the numbers some time this weekend, although from your explanation I can almost guarantee you got everything right.

Calculator still seems rough to me....I have all random drops from RotP/HK with PC legs and DH chest + P8 2H and it says I should be at 3740 dps?

That seems highly unlikely. I don't DPS often, but on 2nd and 3rd boss of RotP I'm only around 2500. Granted that's missing some "full" raid buffs since it's just a 10 man, but I really don't see how you can expect a 1200 difference.

Hopefully I can DPS Murdantix this week to see where I'm at there - Might give me a more reasonable number.

The calculator is based on having full raid buffs up at 100% uptime or as close as possible, and on you performing the 3 FB per SLI rotation perfectly. There are going to be issues like human error, disconnects and lag spikes which will result in you doing less dps than the calculator shows, unless you're on a practice dummy under ideal conditions.

The calculator in the sheet is hidden I believe, but if you unhide it you can play around with raid buffs/debuffs to get a more accurate picture, or use the one in my signature which is where it comes from.

The calculator gives you a good base to look at. You can just factor your own variables into it during raiding conditions and go from there, from what I've experienced after using it.

Can you explain the EHP thing for tank items? I'm a bit confused as to how that works, is calculated, etc...

I'm sorry if this is a repost, I haven't read all 6 pages in this thread.

If i could understand how to actually add stuff to this I would, but maybe others can.

The rune section is extremely lackluster and if anyone have the will and/or urge to add more runes information can be found over at riftjunkies
