Subdue and which abilities it works with

I've finally decided on which calling/souls to play; PALADIN.

(Feel free to comment the build although it's offtopic(it's for supporting my team in pvp(and yes, I know it has 51 points in paladin)))

Anywho! I'm looking at Subdue in the Vindicator(pvp) soul while also checking my Paladin soul for taunts. We don't have an ability that's just a taunt; on the other hand, we have Shield Throw, which taunts and deals damage.
So my question is this: does Shield Throw proc Subdue?

Would like ANY feedback on anyone who has tested Subdue in PvP.

As a favor to fellow tanks, be as kind as to mention other abilities that put Subdue on the target, if you dont mind

Unfortunately no one has used Subdue yet since you have to be level 50 to get the ranking needed to spend more talent points in the Vindicator tree. You can buy the PvP souls at low level, but you only have access to the first tier of talent points.
